Cheap for a reason
Pros:

Conveniently located to Syd Olympic Park

Cons:

The property reeks of smoke from the Pokies room. Seems like the rooms were centrally air conditioned at some pint which now is inoperable. There are split systems instead. The problem is the old ducted system carries the smoke from downstairs into the rooms upstairs. My son has asthma so he really struggled with the smell. Opening the window did help but the hotel fronts Parramatta Rd which is very noisy so not a great option. I requested we were moved and the manager was very accommodating. We did move to the other end of the corridor (trying to avoid being directly above the pokies room) but that did not resolve the issue. I'm not sure if the hotel should allow smoking indoors? I'm sure the staff could have a health claim from indirect smoke inhalation. I would not use this hotel again.

It’s ok.
Pros:

Great location. Friendly staff.
Good foods.

Cons:

Hot water in showers take ages to get warm. (Not a major problem)

Also probably the only hotel that don’t provide tea and coffee in the room in Australia, have to buy it downstairs. ( Really Suck). Making plenty of $$ in pokies, tea and coffee shouldn’t need to buy it. Staff ask me to play pokies to get free coffee and tea, thumbs down 👎.

Pillows are getting old and some are getting way too soft.
The only main reason coming back to this place is close to the Sydney Market.

Pros:

Close to my work

Cons:

Bathroom was terrible so I didn't shower. Noise carried in the hallway. I had to move the dresser in front of the door so I could sleep comfortably.

Pros:

Convenient to park, easy drive to city , clean facilities, clean sheets, bed was comfy, air con.

Can't complain. Great value for the price and the pub has an indoor smoking area just downstairs which is great.

Check in was quick and easy .

Pros:

You get what you pay for. Only decent thing was the bed, it was clean and comfortable. If you are a light sleeper stay away, You can hear the noise from the bar downstairs, if you finally do get some sleep you will be woke early with the traffic on Parramatta Rd if you are in the front row of rooms.
Stains on the carpet dust on the bed side tables and lamp,
