Enjoyed the stay! Definitely recommending!
Pros:

Clean quiet room that was smaller than typical hotel rooms but still cozy with attention to details, awesome fresh breakfast and coffee bar, quiet small hometown location, extras like towels and pillows were easily obtainable from front desk staff, bathroom was one of the cleanest hotel baths I've seen in awhile! pool that was actually open and for the most part, decently kept up (there were a lot of kids and teens using it while we were there so it could have used a bit more TLC) Staff was awesome. You could tell the owner and staff put pride into the property and their jobs. A refreshing change to hotels just an hour north of South Hill.

Cons:

No major complaints! Just keep an eye on pool area. There were soggy snacks on floor around pool and silly string on ceiling. Pool was a bit cloudy when we atrempted to go swimming.

Overall nice hotel with great staff. Would stay again if in the area.
Pros:

The room was nice and the staff was friendly and accommodating, I didn't have time to try the pool or the fitness room but I did take a peek and they looked fine,

Cons:

Being a maintenance person i did notice some problems, the bathroom light switch and outlet was pulling out of the wall in room 301. While enjoying the breakfast I noticed a leg on the counter near the staff room had been knocked in.

Always feel comfortable here when I'm home visiting my family
Pros:

The staff is always great. Very friendly staff. I was disappointed that Gabby was no longer there because she was awesome my last stay! The breakfast was just ok this time. The fried potatoes on Friday morning was dry. Also was looking for that sweet potato casserole from last time. However, overall thanks for having breakfast. It should always be freshly made though.
