Fabulous modern contemporary hotel
Bed a little hard for me
Lekker en uitgebreid ontbijt.
Propere kamers.
Dit is geen tegenvaller, maar eerder een suggestie/idee!
Er zijn veel mensen die in het hotel verblijven, die gaan joggen langs de rivier.
Het zou een leuk idee zijn om aan het onthaal een waterkan (eventueel met munt/citroen) te plaatsen om aan de joggers aan te bieden terwijl ze even recupereren. Ik heb dit al in een ander hotel gezien en dit kost volgens mij weinig geld/moeite en het wordt zeer geapprecieerd.
The hotel is very fresh. The design is minimal, but everything you need and very clean. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast decent and the price made it great value for money.
L'hôtel est agréable, moderne et confortable ; dans la chambre spacieuse, nous avons apprécié tous les rangements. Le buffet du petit déjeuner est délicieux et varié ; l'espace salle à manger est paisible avec une belle vue sur le fleuve.
La traversée de la route devant l' hôtel pour rejoindre le centre ville est délicat! Un passage piétons sécurisé serait le bienvenu !

Staff was lovely. The river view was amazing, we lucked into getting a corner room. Breakfast was great, diverse buffet, tasty and with eggs made to order. We also appreciated the included drinks in the room fridge. And, everything was spotless.
This will definitely be our go-to in the future for one-nighter treats on the Quayside.
The bed was very, very hard and the pillows were quite tall and full (wouldn't compress), so it wasn't the best sleeping experience.
If 2 pillows are to be provided per guest, it would be lovely to have them be a bit different (i. e one taller one lower, or one harder one softer).

A lovely room with a view of the river and bridges.
Lots of extras in the room (even a free drinks fridge) but no biscuits.and only one each of different coffee pods (we were two in the room).
Some of the thickest curtains you’ll ever find. Very handy for walking down the Tyne.
