Pros:

Staff very friendly and helpful, clean and modern

Cons:

The food service on the night was abit slow and asked a few times for water and never received. Think if they were more attentive to customers they may feel the service charge was justified.

A bit of a weird set up with the bathroom/shower located in the bedroom….ok for us but if you’re sharing there is no privacy

Great location, modern rooms just lacking detail.
Pros:

Fantastic location both from the station and to the bars and of course the quayside (where there is a lovely market on a Sunday). The hotel rooms are also lovely and modern with views of the quayside.

Cons:

Our room wasn’t cleaned all day and then house keeping came at 5pm when we wanted to get ready to go back out. The pillows are horrific but did manage to get reception to provide us better pillows (6 hours after asking). Breakfast was good but we weren’t offered the extras like poached eggs, porridge etc that some other tables were offered.

Amazing room with great value!
Pros:

The room is amazing, large windows on all sides, so bright and it has great view of the river and the bridges. It’s also modern, clean and very comfortable. It offered our dog a nice bed, a cute toy and some high quality treats. The breakfast is also very nice, with a great variety and fresh. Such great value. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back if we are in Newcastle.

Great location very pricy, allowing for previous comments would not stay here again !
Pros:

Great location , bright and open.

Cons:

Uni sex toilets very concerning as we had young grandchildren with us and we had to accompany them every time they used the toilet as there were adults using at the same time.
GB news was not available on the TV in the room even though it is now the top news station in the UK, allowing for the above Woke Definitely springs to mind!!!
