Perfect location in downtown Tacoma for our conference!
Pros:

There were no double rooms when we made our reservation, so we opted for a king suite with a sofa bed. Needless to say, the sofa bed was not a real bed and the mattress was quite thin. When we called the front desk, our check in staff was exceptional at finding us another room to accommodate my colleague and I. He moved us to the top floor with a great view and two double beds. The beds are super comfy and the rooms are very clean. Two of my top priorities!

Cons:

The menu in the hotel restaurant could be better. Choices are somewhat limited for lunch and dinner, but overall good. Would be great to have a dedicated coffee bar/cafe as the weather was terrible and we did not want to leave the hotel. The pool and spa are outside - great for summer months. Would be nice to have the hot tub area inside for the cooler months.

I’ll stay here again because of the location but that is the only reason.

I found the staff, especially Ivy and Julie very helpful. I was not happy taking too cold showers in

Did not have a breakfast at the facility.

Cons:

During my stay, I noticed in the morning there was no hot water in the shower. That night I took a shower again and still no hot water. I called the front desk and Julie asked me if I wanted to have it serviced sometime the next day or if I wanted to move to a new room. At 8:30 that night I moved to a new room.
