The location, the layout and the parking right on the doorstep .
The mattress on the bed was a little firm for me - that’s not a criticism - it’s just a personal preference . Amazing hotel .
Warm and welcoming staff. Room had lovely views of the viaduct and sea. Close to the beach and the centre of town. Good food available in the restaurant and nice breakfast.

Car park next to hotel. Lovely, helpful staff. Well stocked bar. Decoration was in very good condition. Very comfortable and clean rooms. Good restaurant menu and excellent food. Very good breakfast menu and everything freshly prepared.

good choice for breakfast, coffee machine coffee was then heated up by hand - very friendly staff, food delicious. loved the fresh fruit and the honeycomb!

The area and the staff
Waiting too long for dinner when it arrived the veg was not hot, being told by the owner days later we were being untruthful about time we waited for the dinner suggest that's not good for business. We arrived 5.30 as per booking and our dinner arrived at 6.20. That in my book is 50 mins not the 25 mins as they claimed such a shame.
Made to feel welcome by all staff. Food was excellent. A friendly place and a good location for visiting cullen and the surrounding villages.
The stairs to the bedrooms are steep if anyone has mobility issues.
A great place to stay the staff where very friendly and the breakfast was excellent and so was the restaurant the room was very comfortable can’t fault anything excellent stay in Scotland.

Breakfast excellent.
Evening meal expensive and we didn't get what we ordered. We ordered salmon, sauteed potato and roasted veg, what we got was meagre portion of salmon, beautifully cooked, boiled plain potatoes, stalky cauli and broccoli, carrots and french beans. Apart from potatoes veg was cold. Was reported to server who saw chef who said he had made a mistake, I asked what were they going to offer as a refund or compensation, this was met with a shrug of the shoulders. At £23.50 over priced and disappointing.

The room was to small, shower head was broken, mattress was hard
Our evening meal was served at our table but it was someone else's dinner.
Hotel is a bit dated, requires a refurbishment.

Location is in one of most beautiful villages in Scotland , Hotel a minute from the harbour of Cullen .
Stayed in many hotels but this is both relaxing and Friendly . It was recommended by one of businesses nearby as was stuck for accommodation and late travelling back to Kinlochleven on West Coast .
