The location was great. Short walk from Namba station (although make sure to come out the right exit as there are approximately 30 of them!) There are also some great shops and restaurants at Namba station! The hotel was very clean and the room was great, very spacious and comfortable. It was really cute having the sink and vanity mirror in the bedroom, you could pull the sliding door to hide it if you wanted. It was about a 10 minute walk to Dotonbori with its great atmosphere, street food, market, shops etc. Great getting around on the metro, although it’s always busy but trains are frequent and people line up in an orderly queue.
Everything was great. Although a bit more pricey than similar hotels, but for the comfort and convenience it was worth it.
Breakfast was very decent with plenty of choices. Rooms were a very good size and well appointed that was comfortable to be in, and a decent sized shower which was great! Also the location of the property was perfect - away from the all the commotion but only a short walk away from the shops and railway. Around the hotel there were also very nice eating options less than 5 mins walk. The staff at the hotel were friendly and very helpful and nonissues with cleanliness of the rooms. I would very much reconsider staying again at this hotel.
Had breakfast on two occassions in the hotel and the only gripe was that the hot food needed food warmersto maintain temperature. It is not pleasant eating hot food that is barely any heat in it.
Choosing the right hotel is one of the keys to a memorable travel experience, and the Fairfield by Marriott Osaka Namba exceeded our expectations making our family’s first Japan experience truly happy.
Its convenient location made it easy to explore some of Osaka's most popular attractions, including Dotonbori and
Shinshaibashi, shopping and dining and everything was within easy reach.
The rooms were comfortable and well-suited for our family, providing a cozy space to relax after a day of adventure. Staff were exceptionally warm and attentive.
We highly recommend this hotel to families and travelers looking for comfort and convenience in Osaka.
