It could have been even better.
Pros:

The location is very good, with a lovely view of the village. The breakfast was enjoyable with plenty of choices. The staff were a bit rushed during breakfast, which made you feel you had to hurry and finish before 10:00 — or exactly at 10:00 — as they hovered around the area; not helpful, and not discreet.

Cons:

Checkout was at 11:00 instead of 12:00, which felt quite early to us. We always expect checkouts to be at 12:00. We requested a late checkout and it was granted—to leave at 12:00. However, they presented it as very difficult because the hotel was full. The hotel certainly wasn’t full, at least not in early March. Even if it had been full, they still made us feel as if they were doing us a big favor. That certainly doesn't make you feel welcome. Also, the staff in general—with the exception of the cleaners—seem not to enjoy their work, which is negative for a business.
