Pros:

Маленький камерный недорогой отель. Отличное расположение 5 минут пешком от центра Султанахмета. Очень удобная кровать и подушки. Можно позавтракать в отеле, сообщив персоналу накануне. Цена/качество вполне вполне.

Cons:

Номера маловаты, но это оправданно, т.к. отель расположен в старинном доме. Узкая, лестница, медленный лифт по тем же причинам.

Pros:

All the staff at this hotel were super friendly and went out of their way to give you the best service. By the end of the week, they felt like family. The breakfast was huge and the rooms comfortable.

Cons:

There were a couple of plumbing issues which were immediately addressed. The road could be difficult to access via car, but that is the old part of Turkiye and so roads are very narrow and busy.

Pros:

Locatie aproape de transport in comun, centrala, aproape de Moscheea Albastra si Hagia Sofia. Are parcare gratuita in fata hotelului. Se face curatenie zilnic. Am avut camera cu vedere spre mare. Este o scoala in apropiere, putina galagie in zilele cand se invata, in pauzele copiilor.

Отель отличный! Всё чисто, аккуратно. Персонал приветливый (отдельное спасибо Арслану!). Убирались каждый день.
Отель расположен очень удачно. Все основные достопримечательности в шаговой доступности.
У нас был номер на 4м этаже. С него открывается великолепный вид на Босфор.

Terrible experience - Unprofessional and overpriced

We stayed at the hotel as a group of five. On the second day, we were informed about a small make-up stain on one towel and told that such stains are usually charged, and that we should be more careful in the future. He told us that he wouldn’t charge us.

At check-out, the receptionist suddenly claimed that three towels had to be paid for, even though only one towel was actually affected. After some discussion, he said they would “meet us halfway” and only charge two. I decided to pay the full amount because I did not want to accept supposed goodwill when the situation was clear.

They charged 30 euros for a single make-up stain. In my view, this amount is disproportionate for one stained towel. I also find it unreasonable that such a minor issue was even raised in this way. It would have been appropriate and professional to waive the charge altogether. Charging 30 euros for a single towel is excessive, especially given that hotels in cities like Vienna purchase towels for around 0.49 euros per piece.

The entire situation felt unprofessional and left a negative impression. I was extremely upset about how the hotel presented the situation. With the amount of accommodation options available in Istanbul, you can certainly get better value for your money elsewhere. It was my first stay at The Camelot Hotel, and it will definitely be my last.

Struttura piccola ma tenuta molto bene, proprietari gentilissimi e sempre disponibili. La camera tripla un po’ piccola ma la posizione, la gentilezza e la pulizia rendono le piccole dimensioni un “difetto” di poco conto.
