West End Hotel

Some rooms are much nicer than others, we stayed previously and had lovely rooms. This time, rooms 3 and 5 were poor. Broken lights, a shower that worked sporadically, and bathrooms in desperate need of a refresh. Its a great value hotel, and the staff are lovely, but theres no excuse for broken lamps, and a shower that only functions properly when a nearby other shower is not in use ( the only explanation i can think for the issue).Breakafast poor, at £15 a head we got food that seemed to have been cooked hours before. Lovely helpful friendly staff.

Easy procedure to check-in and check out.

Clean, quiet, even if a little outdated. One block from beach. Coffe and tea in the room. Has restraunt and bar in the hotel that offers good variety of breakfast and dinner options. And did i say that there is easy beach access? Yes! Easy beach access!

A lovely night spent here. Very clean room and the manager was excellent. Very helpful. The only downside was the shower with low water pressure and the thin walls. Great value.

Food and drink options were good. Quite street so parking was safe. Rooms not very soundproof can hear people talking in other rooms

We did an over night so we didnt have a 4 hour drive back to our B&B. Small single room with bathroom.

2nd time staying. Lovely studio flat. Excellent value for money.

Lovely hotel near the ocean. We had a Lovely walk along the ocean after each meal. Hôtel was located in a quiet residential area. Full service bar and restaurant.
Perfect!

Very happy with our stay here. Hotel looks like it has recently been renovated. Room was a good size and was clean. Could do with another member of staff; the one lady working when we arrived was checking people in, taking food orders, bringing meals out and tending bar. She was doing an excellent job but clearly two members of staff are needed. There are a few parking spaces at the hotel, but if they're full, plenty of on-street parking is available right outside.

Check in was a little complicated as there was no one on staff on sundays. But it is a beautiful place!!!

We have a room of 2 connected bedrooms with reasonable size. Interior design is a bit out-fashion but is spacious and comfortable.

Continental breakfast is just okay.

This property is horrible, DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

The room was dirty, there were stains on the wall and a dirty cup on the night table. The mattress and pillows were horrible and should be thrown out immediately.

This was a short stay on a longer trip. We thought the beds were comfortable, check in was quick and the woman working the desk was pleasant. The only thing was the wifi did not work very well in our room which was a bummer as we are traveling from out of the country and were heavily relying on a strong wifi.

Helped with a late arrival

Nice hotel wasn’t there for long but the receptionist was very friendly and welcoming. The room was ideal for my needs clean, nice hot shower good internet…bed was too spongy for me but that is an individual thing! All in all a great stay!
