Schone ruime kamers met een goede douche. Bedden zijn ook lekker breed. Personeel is heel behulpzaam.

Staff was always helpful, great breakfast and gorgeous rooms.
Comfortable, rooms very spacious, perfect location, everyone who works there is very attentive and helpful
If it rains it could be slippery
Clean, close to all activities, very friendly staff, very comfortable
Outside of a few issues, Hotel La Isla was wonderful. The hotel itself is beautiful, and the patio is a wonderful space to sit with a glass of wine in the evenings and enjoy the ocean views. The staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating, and always willing to answer questions and help to make recommendations and reservations. They did not disappoint!
In regard to the location, we thought it was perfect. It is half a block in from the main street which provided convenience, yet a sense of peacefulness.
Unfortunately, this hotel has a lot of work to do in regards to breakfast and food safety. During our stay at multiple hotels in the Galapagos, they are the only hotel to put out fresh fruit, vegetables, meat, cheese and bread uncovered for long periods of time. When we arrived for breakfast, the food was absolutely covered in fruit flies. I shared my concern with the staff, but they did not appear overly concerned and did nothing to rectify it. The coffee is made in a dirty, home grade (non-commercial) coffee pot, and was mud by the time we made it down for breakfast. The breakfast experience is very disappointing for the price of this hotel.
The only other issue we had was that our air conditioner broke down so we had to be temporarily transferred to another room, but to be fair, the hotel did what they could to rectify it.
Super hotel and staff. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. We had a nice breakfast buffet included too. The location was great with easy access to Charles Darwin Drive and all of the dining, shopping, and boat pier amenities/activities which are plentiful along that drive. On our last morning we strolled down to the Charles Darwin intersection to take one more beautiful sunrise photo.
We had a wonderful stay here. The whole team is extremely attentive, and the owners truly care about their guests, making you feel genuinely welcome. Everything is very well maintained, the breakfast is simple but delicious, and everything runs smoothly and efficiently, always adapted to your needs.
Our room was very spacious and had a lovely view of the garden, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, this place gave us a great experience and a really pleasant moment during our time on Santa Cruz.
This place felt like a proper boutique hotel; great service, exceptional rooms, and friendly staff.
The breakfast was great, and the support in selecting our activities was on point (they have a tour operator on-site). It was also ideally situated to get to the tours and restaurants.
Just a small thing; since we spent most of our time in the water at Santa Cruz, it was hard to dry out our clothes in the room, but the staff unlocked one of the balconies for us to dry them on which was good service.
Beautiful terrace - even better than the pictures. The staff were very lovely.
The hotel is undergoing building works to add a second building. We were initially put in one of the rooms in this new building, which was extremely dark, with no external window. It felt like being put in a basement. We had booked a room with a balcony so this was a bit of a shock. We told this to the staff, who were extremely accommodating and moved us to another room after the first night, which had a lot more light, but still didn't have a balcony. It turns out that only some of the rooms have balconies, but most do not. The hotel could do with listing the different types of rooms separately on here, rather than grouping them all together under "double room". Due to the building works, there was hammering against our wall starting around 8am each morning. Also the hot tub is kind of in the middle of a building site at the moment.
A hidden gem close to all the restaurants . Very pretty room with a very comfy bed . The reception staff were excellent -very welcoming and helpful.
I liked it all
