Excellent séjour en famille
Pros:

Nous étions cinq. Notre chambre, située au cinquième niveau, était très agréable, spacieuse, moderne et traditionnelle à la fois (douche japonaise, futons et lit occidental). Le petit déjeuner, que nous prenions dans le bâtiment situé juste à côté de l’hôtel, était très bon (mi-japonais, mi-occidental). L’hôtel est idéalement situé, à 20 minutes à pied du quartier de Gion, et entouré de nombreux petits restaurants. Le personnel est très accueillant. Du café et du thé sont à disposition gratuitement à la réception.

It’s an amazing hotel! Highly recommend
Pros:

A great location and amazing staff

Cons:

The only issue we had was when doing laundry we were waiting for the dryer to be free, but another room kept restarting it all through the night and the whole morning. Then when they seemingly were finished and we put our load in they took ours out when we weren’t there and put another load. Might benefit from a few more machines to avoid any drama

Pros:

Loved the vibe,, staff and room decor. Location was perfect for us discovering kyoto. Loved the tea and coffee in reception and free laundry facilities

Pros:

The location was amazing to access transportation, as well as local markets and attractions. The rooms were also very comfortable and clean, but the best part was onsite laundry available for use. We were also one of the first to try their new lounge for breakfast, which was a great way to end our stay.

Cons:

Really the only (minor) issue we had was bed placement. Being against the wall, if made it hard for the second person to get out of bed without disturbing the other, but this was a super small inconvenience.

Great location, very comfortable Machiya in Kyoto
Pros:

Central location with easy access to buses and trains. Attractive, traditional looking machiya. Modern, comfortable facilities. East access to washing machine. Coffee making facilities othe foyer. Secure night door.

Cons:

Very dark interior in room gave a sumptuous feeling but made the room dark during the day. Warm on floor 5 with inability to regulate temperature due to standardised setting. We could have adjusted this has we spoken to reception earlier.

A stay above the rest
Pros:

Breakfast option was good. Simple. A feast for the eyes.And just as tasty
Liked the atmosphere of the establishment.
Staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
Also located in a good location in a quiet street.
Liked the daily fresh towels and extra water.

Cons:

Extra waste bins to separate waste better.
Little bowl to place used teabags and coffee bags in.

Super clean facility and spacious, with super nice staff.
Pros:

The room was awesome. It was a big room and fit 4 people comfortably. Room was super clean and cleaned daily. The staff were super nice and helpful. Is a nice central location to many attractions.
