Our stay at Courtyard by Marriott Amritsar from 25th - 28th May was exceptional from start to finish. The warmth, attentiveness, and genuine care of the entire team made us feel truly welcome.
A special thank you to Chefs Rohit Mehra, Vijay Thakur and the exceptional culinary team for thoughtfully curating delicious meals for my husband despite his dietary restrictions. Their attention to detail and commitment to guest comfort were truly commendable.
The impeccable service, thoughtful gestures, and the highly energetic, ever-smiling F& B staff especially Ritika and Ritik made our stay memorable. Thank you for making our visit so comfortable and special. We leave with wonderful memories and look forward to returning. ❤️🙏✨
My recent stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing and fell far short of what one would expect from a property claiming to offer Marriott quality hospitality.
The first issue was the hotel's front porch and vehicle access. The driveway is far too small for larger vehicles, and maneuvering a pickup truck such as a Toyota Hilux is unnecessarily difficult. To make matters worse, the staff routinely parked vehicles along the sides and shoulders of the driveway, significantly reducing the turning radius. While exiting the property, I came dangerously close to scraping my truck due to the lack of space and poor parking management.
The service standards were equally frustrating. After checking in, I had to call the reception three separate times before a bellboy was sent with my luggage. Despite repeated follow-ups, it took nearly 45 minutes for my bags to reach my room. This delay disrupted my schedule and caused me to be late for subsequent meetings. The room and bathroom maintenance were also unacceptable.
The bathrooms were not properly cleaned, and the shower fixtures were heavily clogged with calcium deposits, indicating a lack of basic upkeep and preventive maintenance.
Perhaps the most surprising issue was the faulty room intercom system. The intercom in the room did not function properly due to loose wires and the only way to contact reception was through a phone located in the washroom. Such a basic operational failure is simply unacceptable in any hotel that expects to provide a comfortable guest experience. Overall, poor infrastructure planning, delayed service, inadequate maintenance, and malfunctioning room facilities combined to create a highly unsatisfactory stay.
I would strongly advise management to address these issues urgently, as they significantly impact guest convenience and safety.

Location is prime & away from the chaos of the harmandir sahab, breakfast was good but the desserts were poor, especially bakery items. expect much more from marriott
staff is very courteous, had a good experience with the reception as well as service staff during breakfast
Property surrounding is only other houses, it's in the adjoining area to a residential area so now view as such, window curtains rollers were unoperational, room size is small for the price but not uncomfortably small.

The location in close proximity to the Golden Temple and good eateries like Makhan Fish and Bira Di Chicken.
In terms of feedback and improvement areas, we stayed in Room 802. The washbasin in Room 802 gets clogged up and the dirty water doesn’t recede fast. You might want to look into it so that you can stop inconveniencing future guests.
The breakfast spread was very good.
