Pros:

The breakfasts were wonderful with numerous choices on the menu. We tried several things and found all of them to be delicious and fresh. The whole staff was friendly, attentive and accommodating. Beds were comfortable and it was quiet. There were many terraces and places to sit to enjoy the gorgeous grounds and views of the churches. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it.

Historic buildings, great view and pleasant staff.
Pros:

Fruit to bring breakfast was always fresh. Coffee was tasty and they had a good choice of Mexican style egg dishes.

Cons:

Noise from cars at night was a little much but they provide ear plugs which were more than adequate.

Gorgeous Place!
Pros:

What a gorgeous place! Bed was comfortable, spacious bathroom, had a great soak in the hot tub. Views from the upper terrace are stunning. Short walk downhill to all the sights. Walking back up, you get a work out, but definitely worth it! Breakfast was delicious, the ladies were very nice. We used our translator with the staff, and they were very nice and helpful.

Nothing, loved it!

Casona que te transporta al pasado, pero con lujo!
Pros:

Excelente ubicación, a sólo unos minutos caminando del centro, por lo que casi no requieres utilizar transporte a menos que requieras visitar lugares aledaños.
El desayuno muy rico y en un ambiente que te hacer recordar la época del auge de la casona (data de 1811!), al igual que las habitaciones están ambientadas con mobiliario de esa época.
Y el personal siempre atento a lo que requieras. Aunque no tiene estacionamiento, tiene una pensión cerca por lo que no tardan mucho en traer tu vehículo.

Cons:

Lo único que no me gustó fue que la habitación estaba un poco reducida de espacio, la cama es alta y tienen unos escalones para subir, pero son inseguros porque se mueven y debes tener cuidado al pisar, es recomendable que sea un sólo escalón y de estructura estable.
A la habitación le hace falta un sillón al pie de la cama porque sólo tiene una silla, que es insuficiente para dos personas.

Stay in an authentically designed and beautifully decorated hotel in San Miguel.
Pros:

This is an incredible property and a lovely green oasis. The decor and details have been very thoughtfully arranged. Everywhere you look is beautifully decorated and there are lovely places to sit and enjoy the outdoors and views. Nice breakfast and caring staff.

Cons:

The room needed a sofa , even a small comfortable love seat for two would help to make your customers feel comfortable. The bench that was provided was hard and uncomfortable . No where to sit , it Was hard to relax in the room except sit on the bed . For the price we paid , I expect a place to sit comfortable .

We Could not get the tv to work .

The bathtub would not drain while taking a shower , so we had to stand in our own dirty water from showering and not have clean feet when we got out of the tub to put on our socks . It was long , Long climb up many steps to the room .

This was one of the most beautiful hotels we have ever stayed at- a magical and romantic experience!
Pros:

San Miguel is a city of endless beauty, every building is unbelievably picturesque. But this hotel exceeded all expectations. Behind a large wooden door lies an oasis of gardens, terraces, fountains. The common rooms (living, dining, kitchen) were beautifully decorated, very authentic. Our room was gorgeous with private roof patio with the best views in the city. The staff was kind and very responsive. We can’t say enough how much we loved this place. We will certainly come back!

The property is located within walking distance to city center, top of the hill.

Cons:

The breakfast is included however, staff doesn’t start until after 8-8:30AM. So if you’re an early riser not ideal as you can’t even get coffee onsite. But, there’s a great coffee shop/bakery down the block! So not really a big

I could not give it any higher praise. We loved it!
Pros:

This was one of the best experiences I have ever had. So wonderful that I almost dont want to give away the secret. But the staff, location, food and experience was spectacular! The Hacienda is perfect down to every detail. The gardens and terraces are extraordinary. There were days we just stayed there for the afternoon just to soak up the beauty and history of the building. It is filled with plantings and art in every corner. Being able to stay there was a huge part of our experience in San Miguel. I look forward to ur return and grateful for getting to be part of it.

Cons:

Only that we could have stayed longer.

Magical
Pros:

The hotel was just beautiful. It was like stay in a fairy tail. The aroma, decor and views were just spectacular. My wife and I will definitely return on our next visit.

Cons:

If I HAD to say one negative, which is hard to do, I would say that the soaps provided do not match the high quality of the hotel itself. It is such a small thing that I can't believe I am even saying it. LOL
