Ideal location minutes from the Duomo and Opera House
Attention to detail in the room was lacking. Shower door wouldn’t stay shut, sink not draining away, no milk for tea or coffee. No view from the window.

We asked for some hot chocolate and milk or creamers to the room - we didn’t get anything.
We asked for an iron to our room - it never arrived.
There was a leak from our shower - it wasn’t fixed.
Bathrooms had no ventilation.
Overall, compared to other four star hotels, very poor value for money.

The Staff was very friendly and we were even allowed to check in early in the morning to relax. The hotel was clean and well maintained.
NOTE: the hotel has NO ROOFTOP! This is a very misleading statement from the hotel both on booking.com, their website and on flyers. They have a top floor for breakfast, but no access to the outdoor or view. It is just the very top floor of a building.
We had the junior suite, which was very small. There was only one lounge chair (probably because of the lack of space), but it was not very cozy to relax in the evening beside in the bed.
We were also missing a closet or at least more space for our luggage and an iron, which we consider as basics especially with junior suites.
There is also no full service bar in the evening. You have to serve yourself and pay at a machine with your room card. The fridges are placed in the breakfast room, which are also used as the break room for the staff after the breakfast for the guests. No music, nothing. Hostel or hotel?
