Rove La Mer Beach

I absolutely loved my stay at Rove La Mer and am already planning to stay here again in March! Great location, great amenities, and amazing staff! A true gem!

Love the Rove! I have been staying at this chain for years now and it does not disappoint.

Excellent location by J1. Walkable, quiet and safe. Highly recommend area. Food menu in hotel is limited. Kind of pricey for what you get for room amenities but overall nice.

My stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing. I arrived after a very long flight, reaching the hotel at around 6:00 a.m. I requested from the front desk employee, Ali, to assign me a quiet room since I was utterly exhausted and in desperate need of rest. Unfortunately, he placed me in a very noisy room directly overlooking ongoing construction work next to the hotel.

The situation did not end there. To my surprise, I discovered that there was no hot water in the bathroom and no internet service. When I asked the staff to resolve the issue, I was informed that there was a technical problem with the hot water system in my room, which required shutting it off completely. If that was the case, why was I assigned this room in the first place?

Furthermore, I was shocked when my guest was denied the ability to contact my room on the grounds that it was “too early in the morning,” even though she had arrived at 9:30 a.m. for a scheduled meeting. She eventually left without meeting me, which caused me considerable embarrassment.

Another unpleasant experience occurred the following morning when I went to the restaurant for breakfast. The restaurant was overcrowded, and I was asked to provide my room number to wait for my turn to enter. I waited for a very long time—almost half an hour—without success, and eventually had to return to my room and take my breakfast outside the hotel. To make matters worse, the water pressure in the bathroom was extremely weak.

Although I was VIP I did not get any upgrades only the 20% voucher for 1 usage for food and drinks. The stay was great!

Amazing

Honestly for the price compared to the other hotels in the area it’s worth it. The rooms are on small. But everything is accessible. The best is they have a washer and dryer in the facilities. So u don’t have to over pack. A 24 hour store in the building you can get drinks to gifts to even sandwiches. The prices were very reasonable. They have a breakfast buffet. It was decent but they need more variety. We were there 2 weeks so we got sick of the food. Overall a nice family friendly place

They tried to deny me half board lunch although I was still registered guest. Had a heated argument with restaurant, front desk and manager to convince them I was entitled to the meal that I paid for and hadn’t received yet.

The Rove La Mer was great! The staff was extremely attentive and responsive, the room was clean and bright. The beach is right at your footsteps and it's close to great new restaurants and easy to grab a cab elsewhere.
