Great place for a stopover on your Route 66 journey

It was obvious that this was a newer hotel, but has lots of problems. We were on the top floor and the bathroom had many areas of water leaks. They were on the walls and the ceiling was coming off. We have stayed at other La Quinta hotels and this did not live up to those stays.

A good place to stay after a long day of driving.
Cons:

That I had to join the club in order to get on Wi-Fi. I was already a member but didn’t know my number, etc. so I joined so I could get Wi-Fi and when I get home I will delete the account. No other hotel chain requires this and I will certainly remember it. Waste of time and a rip off to join.

Great but could use some improvements
Pros:

Great stay with amazing window views. Everything was modern, clean and superior with two exceptions: The bathroom shower was stained and not very clean and the breakfast wasn't as extensive as most of the Best Westerns we've stayed at.

Small selection in breakfast. Hallway and room smelled like dog pee, applies to 2nd floor only for people who brings pets.

Great Overnight Stay Whilst Traveling!
Pros:

This is the first time in years that we have stayed at a La Quinta. We were pleasantly surprised by this property. It is modern, clean and well decorated. Our room overlooked the beautiful desert with a stunning sunset. We were given an upper floor and left our draperies open all night just to enjoy the view.

Great place to stay near Petrified Forest National Park
Pros:

A perfect place for a visit to Petrified Forest National Park. The front desk was great at giving us a dinner recommendation, not easy for a small town. The room was comfortable and the breakfast very good.
