Cappadocia Splendid Cave Hotel

öncelikle. magra ortamı çok güzeldi. farklı bir atmosferi var. ilgi alakaları çok güzeldi. sabah kahvaltıları gayet güzeldi

Condition of the hotel was not good, reception and the service staff was wonderful they were a great help, cleanliness was poor. Breakfast was not as good as expected.

Ilk gördüğümüzde manzarası dolayısı ile rezervasyon yapmıştık. Oraya gittiğimizde otelin vadinin kenarında bulunduğunu ve otelin içerisinden vadiye erişimi olduğunu öğrendik. Vadinin uzunluğu 2-3 km uzunluktaymış. Biz yaklaşık 1 kilometre yürüdük, ve yıllar önce yapılmış güvercin yuvalarını, Kapadokya’ya özgü taş evlerini gördük. Herkesin gittiği turistik hınca hınc dolu yerlerden bunalanlar için harika bi olanak. Bir çok odanın terası mevcut ve çoğu vadi manzaralıydı. Kahvaltısı tatlısından tuzlusuna oldukça çeşitli ve lezzetliydi. İşletme sahibi Nazım bey, oğlu Furkan bey ve Kemal bey’e ilgileri için teşekkür ederiz. Tekrardan gelirsek tek kalacağımız adres olacaktır.

Hotel agradable, necesitaría un poco mas de mantenimiento. Algunas cosas necesitarían renovación. Tuve que dejar el coche en la calle, si bien es un pueblo muy tranquilo el hotel no cuenta con parking privado. Desayuno con poca variedad, no había casi nada dulce y lo salado era mas bien para gente local. Habitación con todo lo necesario, estaba bien.

Beautiful cave experience. First thing is the bed, so comfortable! We booked the romantic suite for a special occasion and were not disappointed. I think it's fair to say, manage your expectations. These rooms are built into literal caves, so they are dimly lit, you will find rock dust inside every day and there's not much ventilation. We had a hottub bath in our room which worked well and was amazing. The shower and bidet were a little unclean presumably from previous visitors but other than that it was clean. Our room had underfloor heating and 2 radiators, plus an extra heater which was appreciated as it was quite cold when we visited. The grounds I bet are lovely in the nicer weather. There was some construction going on during our visit but they were very respectful and didn't disturb us early or late. The owner is very friendly and welcoming. There is almost like a deliveroo service available to your door which is handy. The hotel overlooks a lovely valley which was nice. It's a steep walk up to town, about 5 minutes, but not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. There are restaurants and a few shops in town but the area in general is quiet. If you want more choice including bars, taxi to Goreme is only 200TL and they give a whatsapp number to collect you if needed - although there's a taxi rank in the center of Goreme anyway. This hotel is off the beaten track, very peaceful and worth the money to stay. Thanks so much for hosting us!

As this hotel is far and there is no dining apart from the morning breakfast, addition of a restaurant would be desirable.
They should have a trolley for luggage.
Now they carry it manually.

The manager Sali is very accommodating, beautiful person and genuinely cares about his guests. Always helpful and making sure that he does what he can to make your stay pleasant. His staff are mostly green and it appears that most don’t have hotel experience. They are nice and helpful.
The facility is quite newly renovated and still shows traces of construction. Some areas are still under development. The cave rooms are comfortable however I feel that they need more ventilation as i feel it becomes stuffy if I stay in a while.
The facility location is off the beaten path and
will not be suitable for anyone with disability or has difficulty walking as within the facility are stairs everywhere. It adds to the charm but again not for everyone.

GREAT PLACE TO STAY

Öncelikle bizi karşılayan beyefendi güleryüzlü idi. Rezervasyon yaptirdigimiz oda yerine daha güzel bir odayı 2 günlüğüne "jest" olsun diye verdiklerini söylediler. 1 gün de diğer odaya geçersiniz dediler. Olur dedik. Muhtemelen o oda dolu diye :) Ama olsun "jest" saydık biz onu. Merkeze yakındı ama çok gezilecek bir yeri olmadığı için çokta önemli değildi. Kahvaltısı eh işte. Tek sıkıntı etrafta çok fazla kedi vardı. Kahvaltı yaparken kedi birden iceri girip peynirleri yerken yakaldik. Orda calisan hanimefendiye söyledik ama tabi hijyen olarak bir daha orada kahvaltı yapamadık. Tabi hayvan dostu olmaları iyi birşey. Son gece kaldigimiz odanin yaninda yemek bacası vardi. Tüm koku odanin icinde idi. Calisan arkadaşlar güleryüzlü ama hizmet konusunda sıfırlar. Bir aksam oturup birseyler icelim dedik yarim saat bekledik siparis verecek bir Allahın kulu yoktu bizde odamıza gittik. Fiyat yönünden uygun ama.

Ruhige Lage

Generellt mycket trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Men den yngre killen på frukosten behöver hjälp i att kommunicera med människor. Han blev arg när man ville ha annat en te att dricka och då fick man ett halvt glas juice. Att be om tomater var fel m.m känndes som vi hadde trängt oss in i hans hem och inte var gäster på ett hotell.Min tjej som kan turkiska bad mig att snälla inte be om mer juice då han tydligen var arg och hon blev rädd för han.

De tar inte kreditkort vilket jag tycker är konstigt för ett hotell.

Rummen var dock super fina och läget var bra!

Dagen då den äldre mannen (troligen pappa till den yngre killen) jobbade i frukosten så var allt kanon!

The hotel staff are super friendly. They are very helpful and always had a smile on their faces. I would recommend this hotel to people who are interested in experiencing the culture. The room I stayed in was clean and view of the small valley the hotel is located in is great.

Cappadocia has many a hotel promoted as a cave hotel but this is the real deal with 30 rooms tucked into every nook and crany down a cliff facing another cliff of cave caves. The wonderful host gave us better rooms than we paid for as we arrived late and thus had a brilliant view in the morning. Breakfast served by friendly (Afghan) staff. a short walk to the centre of Urgup and its nightlife and a short drive to the open musuem. The room was spacious, well equipped; the bathroom worked well and the no noise came through the cave walls or thick ancient walls.
