Highly recommend - historic inn experience
Pros:

Historic Inn, stayed with my dad and he was so happy to stay at one of the most famous timbered houses in town. No English is spoken by the people who run it but nothing a translator app can’t help with. We emailed ahead to let them know we’d be arriving after dinner, check in was easy! It is an experience to stay in a very well preserved home, room showed history and character and were sparkling clean, hot water is great. Bedding and towels were so comfortable and also equally pristine. Breakfast is also so charming and very good value! Note they request cash settlement for check out. We drove and were given kind instructions on where to best park- there isn’t great parking right by the house but we knew this and packed a day bag for our stay to avoid bringing our suitcases on the cobblestone. There is free parking overnight by the church which is about a 3 min walk. There is an elevator inside the property. The restaurant right next door is also fun, apparently you need a reservation normally as it gets busy but we got lucky and squeezed in for an evening.

Friendly hosts, clean rooms, amazing living history
Pros:

It exceeded our expectation! 12/10!! The family who operates the hotel is very warm and friendly. The building smells nice and has a great ambiance. Our room was perhaps the cleanest room we have ever seen. The building is full of history.

Ein Haus und ein Städtchen zu wohlfühlen
Pros:

Optimale Lage, nettes Personal, gutes Frühstück, gutes Preis-Leistungs- Verhältnis. Optimal für einen Kurztrip!

Reise in eine ältere Zeit
Pros:

Die Lage war zentral und passend in der Altstadt. Die Atmosphäre versetzte in alte Zeiten und das Fachwerk der Zimmerwand atmete Hauch der Geschichte. Das Frühstück im Speiiseraum war gut und eine schöne Stimmung.

Schöner Aufenthalt in einem aussergewöhnlichen Haus🙂
Pros:

Ein Haus mit viel Geschichte. Alles sehr unkompliziert, das Personal sehr freundlich und die Lage ist super.

Cons:

Doe Matratzen waren etwas hart und das Bett knarzt wenn man sich bewegt.

phenomenal location and stay. The history of this bldg along with cleanliness and location #1
Pros:

The location could not be better and honestly I don't think I have ever been in a cleaner hotel and travel a lot

Cons:

One thing to mention for many of Germany restaurants and hotels they only accepted cash. There was a nearby ATM but I think it is worth mentioning. Ask at all German locations this is not just for this hotel.

Ruhige aber zentrale Lage, sehr einfach.
Pros:

Lage, historisches Ambiente, freundliches Personal, Frühstück, bequeme Betten.

Cons:

schlechte Parkmöglichkeit, keine Minibar, veraltete Ausstattung (Bad), qietschende Betten, recht hiher Preis für sehr einfache Ausstattung.

Romantischer Aufenthalt in der ältesten Fürstenherberge Deutschlands
Pros:

Die Erwartung in der ältesten Fürstenherberge Deutschlands zu übernachten wurden absolut erfüllt, das ganze Gebäude, die Zimmer wurden liebevoll + stilgerecht renoviert, es war auch bei sehr heissem Sommerwetter angenehm kühl, das Personal ist äusserst freundlich + zuvorkommend

Kartenzahlung wäre erwünscht
