Das wahrscheinlich meistfotografierte Haus in Miltenberg – das Hotel zum Riesen ist in einem mittelalterlichen, top-restaurierten Fachwerkhaus untergebracht. Sehr nettes Personal, Fahrradgarage kostenfrei, kleiner Aufzug vorhanden, Zimmer mit Aussicht auf den alten Markt, einfach alles super.

Het hotel bevindt zich midden in het centrum, omgeving is mooi. De kamers waren mooi. Het ontbijt was goed.

Pros:

Ein sehr altes renoviertes Hotel mit langer Geschichte.
Wir hatten ein sehr schönes geräumiges Zimmer mit eigener Terrasse im 3.Stock.
Ein Aufzug ist vorhanden.
Das Frühstück ist sehr reichhaltig und wird an den Tisch gebracht.
Werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Müsli zum Frühstück oder Rühreier wären nett gewesen. Aber es hat auch so .Mit gekochten Eiern gepasst.

Gerne wieder, hat mit gut gefallen
Pros:

Die Geschichte des Hauses war der Ausschlaggeber für die Buchung, ist eben nicht austauschbar.
Sehr freundliches Personal.
Zimmereinrichtung passend zum Ambiente der Unterkunft, umgekehrt modernes Bad.
Gutes Frühstück

Cons:

Barzahlung (mit Rechnung) fand ich etwas schade, mehr als 50€ habe kaum bar dabei.

Highly recommend - historic inn experience
Pros:

Historic Inn, stayed with my dad and he was so happy to stay at one of the most famous timbered houses in town. No English is spoken by the people who run it but nothing a translator app can’t help with. We emailed ahead to let them know we’d be arriving after dinner, check in was easy! It is an experience to stay in a very well preserved home, room showed history and character and were sparkling clean, hot water is great. Bedding and towels were so comfortable and also equally pristine. Breakfast is also so charming and very good value! Note they request cash settlement for check out. We drove and were given kind instructions on where to best park- there isn’t great parking right by the house but we knew this and packed a day bag for our stay to avoid bringing our suitcases on the cobblestone. There is free parking overnight by the church which is about a 3 min walk. There is an elevator inside the property. The restaurant right next door is also fun, apparently you need a reservation normally as it gets busy but we got lucky and squeezed in for an evening.

Friendly hosts, clean rooms, amazing living history
Pros:

It exceeded our expectation! 12/10!! The family who operates the hotel is very warm and friendly. The building smells nice and has a great ambiance. Our room was perhaps the cleanest room we have ever seen. The building is full of history.
