Housekeeper wonderful job.
Pros:

Alexis was very kind, attentive and helpful throughout my stay. He helped me a lot and always showed an excellent attitude, making my stay much more comfortable and pleasant. Without a doubt, his dedication and attention to detail made a big difference.

Where Is Front Desk Staff?? NOT Here!
Pros:

This is not in the Irvine SPECTRUM! It is off the freeway exit, on the freeway in Lake Forest. The customer service is awful, the front desk never has enough staff! I think they save money by never having two people up front. I am a diamond member. That means nothing at all to them. I have stayed here two times, and would not go back. It was cheaper than the Towne Place, on the same street, but it is a shared Hampton and Homewood. So the place is crowded, and they charge A LOT for parking!!! If you face the freeway .. it will be nosy, if you are near the elevator, it will be nosy. The breakfast is gross, and you would do better going somewhere else.

Used to be nice...
Pros:

My family has been coming to this place for over 3 for 3 years. It's right by where my daughter lives.Our grandchildren stay with us.They love the place, the pool, the free breakfast.It was very convenient for all of us.

Cons:

This place has noticeably gone downhill since the 3 years we have been staying here.. My husband tried to order foff the the menu. FIVE times the wait staff came back to say they didn't have a particular item. This place used to sell a lovely selection of snacks and wine. They no longer do. The staff was friendly enough but seemed to be overburdened. Rvery time I called down, nobody would answer. Oh the last time we stayed, the right hand elevator was out of order.Two years later, the same elevator is out of order. This establishment has gone noticeably downhill, and it's very sad, because this was a nice central place that my family could relax and visit.We will be going elsewhere the next time we're in southern california.

I could have stayed at a Motel 6 to be treated like this
Pros:

decent breakfast. respectable gym area. The kitchen in the room was nice.

Cons:

It started off poorly. The man at reception refused to put me on the floor I requested in my notes and I had nothing but issues after that. I requested a top floor room due to my anxiety. Instead I was placed under a family. The family, came in late at night clearly excited because I got to listen to them jumping over me. THE EXACT REASON I REQUESTED THE HIGHEST FLOOR. I could not relax. The whole stay was a disappointment. The man at reception didn't even bother to explain I would need my key card to turn my room lights on. Little things mean a lot, I was patient but I simply was not treated well or with any real hospitality.

Felt at home @ the Homewood Suites
Pros:

In so far as the front desk. Aaron was the man. I found him to be very helpful and attentive to my requests. As a matter of fact all front desk personnel were great I just dealt with Aaron more. My housekeeper Sarah Morales was the bomb. Her attention to detail was easy to notice. I know that she wasn’t the only one who cleaned my room but I damn sure know when she did. She stood so far out from the rest it was easy to see.
