Comfort Inn & Suites Sierra Vista near Ft Huachuca

The woman working the front desk was lovely. We were late due to a road closure and didn’t get dinner. She grabbed a couple of yogurts for us and it was greatly appreciated.

I have been in the hospitality industry for six years and I really enjoyed staying at hotels a lot with my family. My mom and I stayed at a nice newly renovated Comfort Inn & Suites Sierra Vista; we were VERY IMPRESSED! We were attending a funeral for one of our friends who had passed away due to cancer in Bisbee. Losing a loved one can be very hard! I am also a cancer survivor and am undergoing treatments, appointments, and scans in Tucson. Overall, I am doing GREAT!

This is one of the best hotels my mom and I stayed at. Technically, my mom and I we were going to stay for two nights but unfortunately something came up with my schedule and so I ended up calling and spoke with Nicole Chrome (Assistant General Manager) and so she ended up taking off 1 night so my mom and I we stayed for 1 night instead of 2. I greatly appreciate Ms. Chrome for taking the time to adjust my reservation and being so flexible. If I could hire Nicole to work at my hotel, I would definitely pick her. Nicole is one of the best hard-working managers I have ever seen! She is a tremendous asset to the Comfort Inn.

The location was just perfect since it was across the street from Sonic and also the Sierra Inn. The atmosphere was just perfect, and the parking lot was quiet since there were some contractors that were staying there. When I made the reservation, I did tell them that I would like to get my room on the first floor since my mom and I were taking a lot of stuff. When I arrived at the lobby, Hope checked me in and I was supposed to be on the third floor. I understand that whenever you put requests in on the reservation, it may be guaranteed depending on occupancy.

My mom and I were in Room 125, and the cleanliness is top-notched. We always like to take cleaning wipes when we stay at hotels just in case housekeepers hit or miss. Overall, we really enjoyed it! What was huge during our stay was that there was a BIG LG Flat-Screen TV. Two of the amazing pros that they had during our stay are: Cozi TV and of course Game Show Network. A huge plus of this hotel is that they have COX Contour and they have the channels that I get at my house in Mesa and so that was very exciting! I also loved that they have Complimentary During Your Stay whereas you can watch On Demand shows at no cost. The value of the hotel is amazing and the awesome design of the hotel. The noise level at the hotel was VERY quiet. My mom and I we have stayed at a lot of hotels, and we’ve seen guests making noises and we know that it’s best to politely tell them to quiet down. I’d even love to see this hotel having quiet hours during the week. I am not sure if they have it or not, but this would be something that Regina (GM) and Nicole (AGM) look into.

My mom and I did get an excellent good night’s sleep, and we did take advantage of the breakfast at the hotel. What is a huge about this place is that if you are in a hurry or have to leave early the front desk i.e.: Hope gave me two grab-n-go breakfast papers to fill out and leave at the front desk and they will make it in the middle of the night and have it ready by the next day. I loved how they do it and so I’d love to see all the hotels do that one of these days. The grab-n-go breakfast bags were awesome; they had yogurt, Danishes, milk, and fruit.

In conclusion, two more ladies that I would like to recognize are: Karlie and Leslie (Breakfast Attendant) they were so very helpful in getting the bags ready to go as I was heading down to Douglas yesterday. Karlie was just so amazing and kind! Leslie was friendly as well! Karlie went above and beyond, and she is a trooper to the hotel. I, too, would absolutely hire Karlie and Leslie to come and work at my hotel one of these days. On behalf of my mom and I, we really want to thank you all for your hospitality, especially those special shout-outs to: Hope, Nicole, Leslie, Karlie, and Allison (Housekeeper). Allison was a rockstar, and she made our room 125 spectacular. Her cleanliness was just amazing and made it shine. Please give her a huge round of applause for going above and beyond. I also left you all a tip through the digital tipping app. Your hospitality is just amazing and y’all go above and beyond because this is the best hotel I have ever seen! We will absolutely recommend this hotel to all of our friends and family who are needing a place to stay to provide excellent service and a very good breakfast!

Close to family

Somewhat dated. One ice machine for the entire 3 story building and no ice. Broken shade in room. Toilet paper dispenser loose. The place met our basic needs but not worth staying again if I can find something a little nicer.
