I really loved the charm and atmosphere of this hotel. It felt cosy, welcoming, and full of character, which made the stay feel really special. The location was amazing and made it so easy to enjoy the beauty of the area. Everything felt comfortable, and memorable, and it gave such a lovely experience of staying somewhere with real warmth and personality.

Cons:

There wasn’t much to dislike. If I had to mention anything, it would just be that like many places in Japan, the space may feel a little more compact than some travellers are used to, but that also added to the authentic feel of the stay.

I'm so happy I found the Kyoto Gion Hotel for my fist solo trip to Japan (Kyoto)!
Pros:

The location couldn't be more perfect!
I loved my room! Small but very clean and cozy!
The staff were very nice and helpful.
Lovely to have a washer & dryer available
I can't wait to return!!
