Well located, easy to walk everywhere, with good dining, shopping and sites all around. Good layout and easy to find.
Loud extractor fans or ventilation outside the window, creating noise at night.

Short walk to markets for food, souvenirs etc
Gion is the vibrant area of Kyoto with many bars, clubs etc hence could be noisy until 3am and after.

Lovely room, great location. Staff were very kind and helpful. Even has free umbrellas for rainy days and washing machines to use.
Room was a little small
何度も宿泊してるが、この広さで浴室トイレ洗面がセパレートはなかなかない

Laundry facilities easy to use
Very small room much smaller than pictures. Very noisy room and bed was uncomfortable. Also there was a light outside that was on all night it was very difficult to sleep.

Specious room with a comfy space and shelving units. Really big bathroom and a nice window.
Location is it's pro and con, you can get to most touristy places from the hotel easily - but the hotel is on a very busy local street, tourists are not an issue but locals party all night and there is a lot of girls bars that people visit across the street - bring your earplugs.
