Categories

Cleanliness
6.5
Mixed reports: many guests described rooms and common areas as very clean, but there are serious cleanliness and safety incidents reported (dirty showerhead, blood on sheets, burn marks, strong pet/dirty-dog smell, exposed screw) that significantly lower this score.
Service
9.4
Consistently praised: multiple reviews call staff exceptionally friendly, warm and helpful (even single-staff members named). One or two service-related issues were reported (ADA-related waiver attempt, unexplained person at door), but the dominant sentiment is strong, positive service.
Location
9.2
Very positive: repeatedly noted as minutes from LEGOLAND, close to the highway and restaurants, convenient for families—location is a clear strength.
Room Quality
8.8
Generally good: many guests reported comfortable, spacious rooms and good beds; however, intermittent maintenance problems (screw in sofa bed, slippery tub, weak shower flow, plumbing/toilet failures) temper the score.
Amenities
9
Strong: complimentary breakfast is frequently praised, pool (open late) is appreciated. Some minor negatives (no ice machine on main floor, breakfast timing) but overall amenities are well-regarded.
Value for Money
8.6
Mixed: several guests felt it offers good value (especially versus nearby options), but a few felt the price was high given maintenance or plumbing issues—value is generally positive but not unanimous.
Food and Beverage
9.7
Mostly excellent: breakfast repeatedly described as great with good variety and family-friendly options; a small number of comments requested improvements or different service hours.
Overall Experience
9.2
Overall positive: the large majority of stays were described as enjoyable and would be repeated (clean rooms, friendly staff, convenient location and good breakfast). A few serious negative incidents impacted some guests, but overall sentiment is favorable.

Horrible
Pros:

Nothing

Cons:

Everything! The bathroom showerhead was dirty. There were burn marks on the floor. There was blood on the sheets. The sofa bed had a screw sticking out of it. They violated ADA law by trying to make me signed a waiver for my service dog. The tub was so slippery. It was easy to fall. Somebody kept coming by my room during the night and jiggling the door handle

Nice place for short stays
Pros:

Breakfast being included was good. Quiet hotel. Nice people. Beds were comfortable.

Cons:

Breakfast could have been later than 630-930. And a pet deposit should be made clearer.
