Rude staff look elsewhere for your stay in Sacramento
Cons:

The staff were incredibly rude to me and were not going to allow me to stay in a room that I had already paid for. Upon arrival, I used the same bank card I used to pay for the room and they weren’t going to accept it. It was not a prepaid card. It was a real card with a Visa logo. So then, after an incredibly rude back and forth, and me letting the staff know that I drove two hours with my family to this hotel, they finally said we could stay in our room. All of that just to let us stay in the end? No thank you. Ruined our weekend. I chose this room because of its proximity to the Good Day Sacramento TV studio, which is where I was going the next morning to appear on TV and this incident with rude, snobby staff really put a negative cloud on what should have been a wonderful trip. As a person a part of media, I’ll be advising all of my friends and family to not stay here. To be treated like I was less than a person by the staff was not a good feeling. And to had them threaten me that they were not going to honor my reservation, that again, was already paid in full, was so crazy. They were willing to put my family and I out on the street with nowhere to stay. Insane. Never staying here again.

Pros:

The staff that I experienced was friendly and welcoming. It was quite at night. Love having AC that I could control.

Cons:

When I checked in, the front desk person and I agreed to having cleaning room service 2 days of my 4 day stay. It never got done. Also, the breakfast, was ok. It wasn't near as good as it was when I stayed there 2 years ago.

Son stung by something in room
Pros:

Nice lobby area

Cons:

No daily room service is not ideal. Way overpriced for the room we stayed in. The room had a slight smell and my son got stung by something in the room and his arm is swollen

Will not book with booking.com or stay at the Marriott again
Pros:

Breakfast was not to the standard that I would expect of the Marriott. The manager I talked to was respectful but did not care that we spent over $150 for a terrible night sleep.

Cons:

The room next to ours was loud all night long and even after I called the front desk at 2:30 in the morning we were woken up several times by the noise. When I tried to get credit for another night stay they wouldn't do it because we booked through Booking.com.
