The fact that breakfast wasn’t served until 10.30 but you had to vacate your room at 10am!
Misleading information about check in times which is only allowed for one hour between 3 and 4pm. Breakfast time after checkout at 10am. Ridiculous. And very convenient for the proprietor
Good location, lovely view over the harbour and marina, staff very good, welcoming and attentive
We had a double room on the top floor, clean and spacious
Found parking a problem, ended up on Marine Drive about 20 minutes walk from hotel. No luggage storage at the hotel so had to carry luggage around before being able to book in and again the morning we left.
Weren't able to have breakfast at the hotel as the chef had car trouble. but were provided with breakfast at a cafe near the top of the tramway, which was ok
Liked the breakfast was not until 10am, no rushing round in the morning.
Great location, great views
The person in charge wasn’t very friendly, she knocked on our door at 10 on the dot very loudly to ‘kick us’ out of the room which we were just vacating on time. There was no hairdryer in the room, she said we should have seen this on booking .com but unless it had been pointed out specifically, we wouldn’t have known, it is usual to have a hairdryer! There were angry notices everywhere, just not very hospitable! The room was great otherwise
Great location, nice breakfast.
No luggage storage facility so had to carry our bags around with us after we checked out.
It was close to all amenities. Room was clean and airy. Good views.
Had to provide photographic evidence with an address which we weren’t asked for previously.
Booked for breakfast but this wasn’t served until 10.15 ish after we had to book out of the rooms.
Tried to order food at 5.15pm to be told the kitchen had closed.
On returning to the hotel it was in darkness and the bar was shut.

Very slow check in. Despite having booking confimation, made to feel like we hadn't booked. Not the only ones to go through the confusion. 35 mins to check in.
Soft furnishings very dirty.
Holes in bedding, which didn't fit the bed. Not worth £170 for the suite

Staff attitude, check in time strict 3-4, despite having a message through booking.com from the hotel saying we could check in later, attitude by the staff member was if you don’t get her in time nobody will be here to let you in, no customer service.
Breakfast not served until 10:30 however check out is 10. Room info suggests you can buy breakfast earlier though??
And god knows what was happening with the towels, covered in fluff after getting dried, was like a snowstorm!
Great location and the room was large well furnished and comfortable.
Breakfast was good too. No huge but good ingredients and perfectly cooked.
Our welcome wasn't over friendly! Some of the staff seemed miserable.
Checking in and out policy was unusual. Having to check out before breakfast is served is not ideal.
The hotel and bar closing at 5pm on a Friday night, was crazy. Especially on a hot day when there was an event at the open air theatre. Couldn't understand this at all.
Room needed a full length mirror and larger towels!
The bedroom was really nice and large. I like the whole pub tbh, it’s pretty. Nice location & very good breakfast that was included in the price!
The shower was a little mouldy, and the shower head wouldn’t stay on properly.

I didn't like the check in couldn't understand why he needed proof of my address and didn't think they where helpful except for the friendly girl, when asked could we leave the bags somewhere said no and had to check out before breakfast which i thought was strange, The room was well equipped and beds was comfortable and lovely shower
