Not what we expected but still a good experience
Pros:

Good, friendly service, beautiful views, peaceful area. However, it is important to note that you must call a day ahead to confirm your booking as the man on duty is not always notified that you are coming...

Also, be aware that to get to Ostional and Villas Punta India, you must travel on at least 17 miles of dirt road. Rough drive if you don't have 4-wheel drive (or a larger car)!

Worst Hotel Ever!
Pros:

This hotel should not be allowed to use Hotels.com or any other service like it. I booked this hotel far in advance of our trip and they canceled on us when we got there at 4 PM leaving us nowhere to stay. They had given our room to someone else. (maybe they paid more?) it took forever to find another place to stay. 10PM we finally found a bed, in a town 30 minutes away.

Pros:

Reservation mix up but they fixed it. Place not properly cleaned. Wooden walkways to cabins in poor condition. Beautiful setting. Three door locks: one hard to work and one didn’t at all. Very rugged roads from Nosara; had to ford small stream; need 4x4.

Pros:

The villas are in a secluded area very private lots of peace nature and quiet time and fully equipped with everything you need. Juan the hotel care taker was amazing and very knowledgeable about the area from restaurants and beaches to roads and shortcuts. Overall it was an amazing experience especially San Juanillo beach I would absolutely recommend it and I’m looking forward to my next stay at this place.
