Hotel is nice and shuttle service to/from airport is good touch, but service slightly inefficient.
First time I've stayed in hotel where housekeeping doesn't complete before 5 pm and have to chase up or not do it at all.
Breakfast service also slow in seating guests.
I spent a week recently here staying in the superior room 1 king bed,balcony,sea room. Room was great the view was amazing, nice and clean.
There are a few things that let this resort down firstly the breakfast buffet, every morning the hot food section was cold the hashbrowns were like golden rocks, bacon,sausages and everything else in the hot section freezing cold. It was very much catered for the chinese tourists.
It was dissapointing that you could only get a lift by the resort golf buggies at specific times to the front of the resort even when the buggies are just sitting there nobody is willing to take you or do anything extra out of the designated times.
If going into town each day is important to you unfortunately the Movenpick owned bus into town only goes once day from 1800 till 2130 and you also need to pay for that bus trip its not expensive but I feel like they should offer different times to run into town throughout the day/night.
It's the little things that let this resort down.
Would i stay there again probably not.

Well maintained and functional - but overall attitude of staff from reception to restaurants (except Aura staff) was unwelcoming. Additionally language barrier of English is a challenge and there is no staff to help clarify.
Could not pay me to stay at this property again.
Staff- non responsive, rude and no sense of service.
Property/rooms- property keeps aircon off to save money. Pillows and rooms smell of mould and sweat.
You get what you pay for. However, I would not rate it 5 stars. More like a 3 star property,

Nice bathroom and room deco. Room is spacious. Kids loved the chocolate bar and the pool. Breakfast has a great variety of food but closed a bit early.

So far, the worst customer experience I’ve had in a hotel. The front desk staff is unpleasant — it almost feels like you're bothering them by asking simple questions.
Even the simplest requests, like being shown to the right door, turn into something complicated.
The hotel is huge and soulless.
Very disappointed — I do not recommend this place.

Déçue dans l'ensemble , bel hôtel , mais pas pour un séjour de 10 jours en couple !, hôtel beaucoup trop grand et effet usine , très bruyant , idéal pour famille avec enfants , pas assez de transats ( piscine et plage ), il faut arriver de très bonne heure !, sinon vous ne trouvez aucune place , ménage dans chambre pas terrible .
4 * L'hotel est magnifique mais l'espace aménagé sur la plage est beaucoup trop compacté et manque de chaises. Clairement pas comme sur la photo de l’hôtel. Le service au restaurant est très lent et désorganisé par contre le personnel est vraiment gentil et attentionné malgré tout.
Nicely designed place but in need of some renovation, a big piece of plaster fell down on the kids swimming pool area, the sun loungers on the balcony have seen better times, the kids playground is small and the toys are old/ in need of repair, the first room offered to us had a mouldy ceiling, the next room had a connection door to the adjacent hotel room with barely any sound isolation, staff is friendly, food tastes really good and the breakfast is amazing

Great hotel, the breakfast is extraordinary, the room is great, the view to the ocean is a dream. We can highly recommend this hotel.
We stayed at this lovely resort for 8 days and thoroughly enjoyed our time. The resort features beautiful swimming pools and a pristine sandy beach. With three restaurants on-site, breakfast was pleasant, and the staff was exceptionally kind and helpful. The only downside for us was the lack of activities or amenities outside the resort—restaurants and shopping require a taxi. Despite this, we’re already thinking about coming back!
We paid a lot money for a beach holiday but MOVENPICK was unable to supply it because it did not have enough sun beds to go around. We pointed this out to a member of staff and she said it was first come first served. MOVENPICK should refund our money. Do not go there.
Nice resort with all you need for a calm visit. Food is good, not great. Beach and pool are both super nice, but all the screaming kids take away from the luxury feeling. Also, there are not even close to enough beach chairs which means people try to grab them at 8.00 by putting their towels there and not showing up until 3-4 hours later. Could be easily solved by adding double the amount of beach chairs.
Room is very good and clean, has all you need. Bed is very comfortable.
Service is good, but does not always go the extra mile that can be expected from 5-star hotels. For example, we had to argue for 30 minutes for them to bring our lost bags from the airport (that they were anyway going to).
Lastly, everything is very expensive inside the resort. Food and drinks are atleast 2-3x more expensive than outside.
We had a lovely stay here - however a few things could have been better, seating / deck chairs and shade are a major problem.
The pool has very limited loungers as does the beach, one day we had to lie on bean bags which was fine but there’s no umbrellas so unless your under a palm tree or want to sit in the sun your sort of stuck for options.
For a 5 star resort I would expect a bed and shade! Room was beautiful, breakfast was great - staff were okay, I wasn’t allowed to take a coffee out of breakfast for my partner which seemed ridiculous. Also make sure you get a towel key at reception when you check in or you’ll get to the beach and have to walk back - not what you want after a long flight!
I personally think it’s a great place for families, as a young couple it’s probably not the best spot!
You can get around using grab which is great, about 25 mins ish from town but the right side for the safari. If you show the women outside the hotel grab she will get you taxis at the same price.
After my initial request for housekeeping services, they didn’t show up for two hours. Subsequent to a second request, I waited an additional twenty minutes. After that, I canceled it. It is so unprofessional.
The check-in process at 3 PM was significantly delayed due to a lack of organization and staff guidance. The limited availability of sunbeds at both the pool and beach was disappointing. Additionally, seating during the designated happy hour was insufficient. Furthermore, the shower temperature regulator was non-functional, and the drain was obstructed. Juices and wine were not possible to order via room service and most of the food was out of order in the Movenpick app.
