I had a great stay. It is a very good hotel. The breakfast was adequate, but not inspired.
Pros:

Clean, bright room. Comortable. Nice in room coffee. Nice shower. Good TV. Clean and new feel.

Cons:

Odd layout lobby, desk, ground floor. I like a pretty lobby. This one is more utilitarian. The bar looks deserted. It should be a cozy little space that attracts people. A small, but good dinner menu would be great.

Best value of our trip at a very nice place
Pros:

The hotel was super clean and modern. The staff were outstanding and breakfast excellent. On our two weeks renting hotels this was by far our beat value and one of the nicest hotels we stayed on.

Cons:

The area wasn’t one of the best.

Was exceptional
Pros:

It was easy to get to , clean , great breakfast. The staff was friendly the room was very spacious. It was a perfect stay. We weren’t traveling with our dogs but we still love Laquinta because it is always a reasonable rate.

Cons:

When I checked in a security deposit was required - fair enough - but neither of my cards from different banks would go through. I had been using them all week with no problem (and used one immediately after to pay for dinner) - the machine said approved, but the system wouldn’t accept them. La Quinta blamed my banks and wouldn’t let me stay in spite of prepaying for the room…until an American friend gave his card. I subsequently checked with my banks and the charges had never been presented to them, so there must be a system error. What got me was that there was no attempt to work round it - if I hadn’t had a US friend I would have been ‘buggered’. This is not acceptable in my book.
