Clean and comfortable but wouldn’t stay again based on the check-in process.

Cons:

When I checked in a security deposit was required - fair enough - but neither of my cards from different banks would go through. I had been using them all week with no problem (and used one immediately after to pay for dinner) - the machine said approved, but the system wouldn’t accept them. La Quinta blamed my banks and wouldn’t let me stay in spite of prepaying for the room…until an American friend gave his card. I subsequently checked with my banks and the charges had never been presented to them, so there must be a system error. What got me was that there was no attempt to work round it - if I hadn’t had a US friend I would have been ‘buggered’. This is not acceptable in my book.

Dependable stay
Pros:

I stay at this site often when on business trips to Manassas. I feel very safe there and the staff is very accommodating ie: I always ask for a room in the back of the property.

Cons:

There is no tea at the breakfast buffet which is always a disappointment as I am a tea drinker.

Surprisingly nice stay.
Pros:

I was pleasantly surprised by the room design and furnishings. Kudos! One of the few hotels, i've stayed in were the thermostat actually worked. The blockout shade was a nice touch. As was the soundproofing, even though on a busy street, you couldn't hear anything.

Cons:

Getting in and out of the parking lot.
