Shocking to not have any hot water and walk in to a freezing cold room
Pros:

The location suited our needs.

Cons:

When we arrived the air conditioning was on in the room so we had to sit with our coats on and wait for the room to warm up. When we decided to have a bath, there was no hot water (in the evening) it was just luke-warm, and then the plug wouldn't come out of the bath meaning we had to leave it in, so we couldn't shower the next morning. I then went to run the hot water tap in the morning to wash, and it was freezing cold (at 8.15 am). When we went to check out, the facility didn't have a reception so we couldn't even comment on the conditions. There was damp on the bedroom ceiling from a leak above, the paint was peeling off the window sill. It was, for £89 the worst stay I have had in accommodation.

Pros:

Lovely, friendly staff and great facilities; the venue itself was really nice, the accommodation perfect for our needs and our food was so nice! Air conditioning was very welcome too! Would definitely stay again.

Pros:

The location was what we needed on arrival. Staff was very pleasant and helpful.

Cons:

Room was not very clean. Paint work could’ve been done better when the lights was hanging from the ceiling bathroom floor was squeaking every time you walked on it you could hear other people walking around in their rooms because of the floor.

Overall happy with our short stay
Pros:

Room was clean eg bedding etc, bed very comfortable. Heating was very good. Staff warm and welcoming on arrival.

Cons:

Overall room in need of maintenance, stains on walls and cigarette burns on bath edge. Little hot water from tap. Furniture a little dated.

Would’ve been okay for £30 a night instead of £90
Pros:

Did sleep well

Cons:

Room was cold even with the heater on.
Bathroom cold no switch for towel heater.
Stains and marks and plaster off the walls.
No hot water in the bathroom.
Keys for room and front door look identical.
Key gets stuck in the door lock
Weird smells
No WiFi password.
TV not connected to WiFi had to use 5G off the phone

OK for a one-nighter
Pros:

Plenty of parking. A comfy bed. A hot shower. A warm welcome at check in. All of which is fine for a one night stay over.

Cons:

Communal area to reach the upstairs rooms, i.e. stairs and landing need a very deep clean on the carpets as it has an 'odour not fresh' and is clearly dirty (should be grey but is brown). Because the communal space carpetting is very grubby this has 'walked into' the rooms so the bedroom carpets would also benefit a clean. Bathroom floor would benefit a deep steam clean. Looks like fairly recently refitted so this is a real shame. TLC and someone keeping on-point is all that is needed.

Excellent, we would highly recommend this place.
Pros:

The rooms were very clean and had everything you need, the bed was also very comfortable. The pub/restaurant was excellent, way above our expectation, we had a lovely meal and the staff are very friendly and welcoming.

Cons:

There is nothing we didn’t like.
