The Manohara Hotel Yogyakarta

The Rooftop Pool is wonderful with a fantastic metropolitan view over the rooftops of the city. The surrounding area is convenient for walking to the many universities and has many small Warung eateries.
The room wasn't clean when we checked but the staff fixed this. The room was also quite hot due to the heat load from the sin on unprotected windows. I was there for business and the desk in room wasn't comfortable and ergonomic so I worked in the 2nd floor cafe where the tables and seats were more comfortable.

Fabulous stay - one of the top hotels we stayed in while in Indonesia. Hard to find anything negative. The rooms we large, clean and comfortable. The food was over abundant and delicious! The view from the 8th floor at night was beautiful; a place to get away from the noise and bustle of the streets. The bar, while not fully stocked had enough of a variety to keep content.

There was a bartender present every night. He was gracious and worked hard to provide quality service.

I wish we could have stayed longer!

Great hotel when visiting Yogyakarta and the temples. Service is outstanding, from the reception, the restaurant service team to the laundry service team.

Our stay at Manohara Hotel was amazing from start to finish. Nandy and Lili provided exceptional customer service, upgrading our room to VIP, which was such a thoughtful touch.

The rooftop pool was a definite highlight—relaxing with stunning views of the city. The bedrooms were spotless, the AC was powerful, and everything felt fresh and comfortable.

Breakfast each morning was a treat with a lovely mix of local and international dishes. The variety and quality were top-notch.

Overall, the combination of great amenities, attentive staff, and a welcoming atmosphere made our stay truly memorable. Highly recommend it!

The staff was very kind and friendly. According to my request he called a taxi at 4 am and a driver was very good. The beer price is higher than a local restaurant.

I stayed for 6 nights at the Manohara hotel for a conference at UGM. My stay throughout was excellent, provided that one does not stick around for a meal or beverages. On the one occasion when I decided to have lunch in their restaurant on a Saturday afternoon at 12pm, my one dish of rice and fried chicken took nearly an hour to arrive. Besides one other party of guests in the restaurant, there was just myself. The hotel, room, and location are excellent, but you are better off finding a meal outside the hotel.

Clean, quiet, rooms, good breakfast, nice pool and gym facilities and friendly helpful staff.

Facilities were generally good, however language barrier was an issue; unless you know Bahasa Indonesia. Room service mixed up orders. The spa did not deliver the service as indicated. Toilet had frequent flooding issues. However, the breakfast buffet spread & room makeover were top notch.

The staff there were well trained. They were very helpful. They had a variety of breakfast options. My overall experience there was very good. Would highly recommend this hotel!

The hotel is a good place to stat if you want a nice place to sleep. As a tourist, we also wanted help arranging some activities, like seeing the temples. The hotel didn’t help us that much with this, since the only thing they did was calling a private driver we could arrange activities with ourselves.

The driver, Andi, was wery good and helpfull. We highly recommend him if you want to go on tours around the area.

The hotel is placed a little far away from the Maliboro Street and good places to eat. We spend some time using taxies to go back and fourth into the city.

Overall a Nice hotel with great facilitets (bed, pool, etc.) but not that much if you want help to arrange some good days and activities in the area and if you would like to be close to the city centre.

The staffs were all very helpful, friendly and nice. They informed us so well about the facilities and what should we do in Yogyakarta. They really cared about our comfort.
The hotel building is new, the bedroom, restaurant and swimming pool are incredible, very well decorated and modern. Very recommended to stay in this hotel.
And also near Adi Sucipto hotel and shopping mall.
