Tranquil and beautiful
Pros:

This was my second stay. The area is tranquil and beautiful. It’s not a sterile corporate hotel. I had the good fortune of speaking with the owner on several occasions and learned quite a bit about Norway and Norwegian culture. Exactly what I wanted, couldn’t have asked for more.

Cons:

The bus that stops right in front of the hotel is a school bus. You can only ride on weekdays, to town in the morning and from town in the afternoon. Town is only one stop away and the scenery was gorgeous so I didn’t mind the walk at all, but it’s something you need to know if you’re not renting a car and are disabled or elderly.

Waardeloos, na 2 nachten van de 8 opgebroken en in een hotel gegaan.
Pros:

Er is niets te melden wat het meest beviel. Dit is een locatie die het beste bruikbaar is voor mensen die in de omgeving bijv. een klus van een paar dagen moeten uitvoeren. Niet iets voor een paar toeristen.
De bedden waren oke, beddengoed en handdeken ook.

Cons:

De foto's op de site geven een veel beter beeld dan de werkelijkheid. Je ziet wel dat het allemaal niet zo strak is ingericht als een hotel of een B&B. Bovendien is het niet schoon, verwaarloosd, zit er bijv schimmel op het douche gordijn.

When the deal is too good, think thrice
Pros:

The view from my room was the only good thing about this property

Cons:

It is a 35min trek to the nearest bus. The bed was lumpy and creaky. The bathroom fan made such a racket ruining the whole shower experience. And worst of all, there was no internet. Or at least it did not reach my room. The owner said I should go to the terrace/reception area to get connected but that makes no sense as I needed internet within my room not at the terrace/reception. Also so many flies!
