Grat location, nice staff, amazing breakfast
Pros:

This hotel is in very strategic location for travelling to Bayreuth. The staff was helpful and very nice, certainly beyond what is typical. I really recommend purchasing the breakfast, that was a feast of my dreams.

Die unmittelbare Nähe zum "Grünen Hügel" hat mir gut gefallen. Das Zimmer ohne jeglichen Komfort ,kein Tisch,kein Stuhl, war viel zu teuer .

Cons:

Der überhöhte Preis für 3 Übernachtungen für mehr als 700 €. Aber in der Zeit der Festspiele ist es wohl so üblich.Ich erlebe es so seit vielen Jahren .

Es war ausreichend für eine Nacht. Super das wir so spontan und auch zu so einer späten Uhrzeit einchecken konnten.

Das Frühstück was sehr gut und reichhaltigen.
Alles war sauber.

Cons:

Die Ausstattung ist selbst für ein Stadthotel minimalistisch. Kein Schrank oder Komode, ein Tischchen und ein Stuhl. Nur eine Mini-Garderobe mit vier Bügeln. Ich hatte ein Doppelzimmer zur Einzelnutzung gebucht. Also zu zweit wäre das Zimmer eine Zumutung. Wir waren nur eine Nacht und wirklich nur zum Schlafen und duschen, da ging das. Ich würde in dem Zimmer keine Zeit verbringen wollen.

GREAT PLACE!! Will definitely stay there again!!!!!!
Pros:

Pretty much everything was excellent. The room was large and comfortable. The cafe was excellent; example: when I went to have lunch, the Chef explained to me that they only did Breakfast and Dinner. Regardless he then went and personally made a sandwich/fries for me. The bar was good, I appreciated the beer; the Bavarians did not invent beer (that was the Egyptians, about 15,000 years ago) but they perfected it.
The staff was incredible, when I had trouble with the parking lot ticketing machine (it wouldn't take my Euro's to prepay for parking), the Manager On Duty himself walked me out to the parking lot, and across the street was a ticketing machine that sold tickets for the 5 separate lots around the hotels (Novotel was right next door on an adjoining property). He personally showed me how this machine worked (Thankfully it did) and I got my prepaid ticket.
I don't think even Hilton or Novotel would do that.

Cons:

Only the parking. I found out the land surrounding the hotel was owned by the City (Bayreuth) and the lots were operated by the city, and not very well! The Ibis more than made up for this, however!
