Great cute restored property in the heart of lorain!
Pros:

I liked the location. The lobby was beautiful. Or room was very clean and had everything we needed .

Cons:

Parking seemed limited because of the icy condition and no one put salt out.

Pros:

It was decently clean in the room.

Cons:

I couldn't get staff on the phone for hours while trying to get basic needs like extra pillows. We had to chase down people in the bar who wouldn't answer. The reservation line just kept hanging up on us when we were trying to get assistance.

Kind of gross, but it’s Lorraine
Pros:

The building is extremely unique. We didn’t get a chance to try the restaurant, but it did smell good. The staff was extremely helpful and kind.

Cons:

This place smells awful. It doesn’t hit as soon as you walk in the door but once you get to the floor, you’re staying on the spell is all you can focus on and it gets even worse. Once you get into your room we stayed on the fourth floor, the carpets look dirty the floor in the bedroomhad crumbs and dirt. sheets looked clean enough, but I definitely was not very impressed. there was trash in the corners of the room like all they did was come in and put the sheets on the bed and left the shelf in the shower. Looked as if it was ready to fall off the wall.

It was an okay stay for being the only hotel in Lorain.
Pros:

The staff at the end of our stay was friendly. We had an incident and the lady at the desk was very kind about it. Our kids enjoyed looking out the windows at the lake.

Cons:

We were not informed there was a wedding that same day we were staying there, on the same floor. The wedding reception was extremely loud. We have 4 small children so to have to deal with the loud music late at night was dissatisfying.

Close to work

Cons:

No continental breakfast. Thermostat didn’t work in first room, had to move to a different room. Hotel staff was very nice and accommodating. Brought my food from restaurant to my room for the inconvenience
