I will not stay three more again and will not recommend to others.

Restaurant was good.

Cons:

Service was bad. HVAC controlled by front desk housekeeping sloppy. Not the fault of the hotel, but there was a fire alarm at 12:30 am with 30 minutes outside on cool evening. Staff refused to explain why next day.

Cons:

being woken up at 1am because of a fire alarm that got set off. booking.com letting me choose my check in time but the hotel has never heard of anything like that so i had to kill 4 hours before check in

No one answers the phone. They Failed to change date's through booking and I even called 2 day's prior to adjust my stay. They did not on there end.
The rooms are clean, beds cheap spring mattress and bedding is cheap. Only 2 pillows per queen bed. Needs way better bedding. Also the windows on lake view needs upgraded. Traffic noise and bridge noise was awful.

Location was absolutely spectacular! The water was amazing! Events were close by, and our family felt centrally located!

Cons:

The room could've been a lil cleaner. The bed shams weren't cleaned (ever) with stains. I couldn't handle it, and actually climbed on the toilet myself to clean the bathroom ceiling vent, covered in dust bunnies. Other than that, not a bad spot at all!

We are from Lorain so yes we would stay again
Pros:

Room was clean. View was great. Great bar area and breakfast food was very good

Cons:

Had to get more Kleenex and T.P. from front desk. Room was very low on those supplies. Also office staff did not give a parking pass or a receipt for my stay. Received the parking pass on Sunday from waitress in Restaurant.

It would have been nice if I could have slept but the noise from the traffic and police cars was a downfall.

The room was very nice and comfortable for the price.

Cons:

It was very loud due to the traffic on the bridge and the police cars. That is why I will never return here. And the bugs in the morning were very disturbing. I know it’s something one can’t control but I just had my car cleaned and they were all over me my car and in my car.

Nice old fashioned hotel near waterfront in small town
Pros:

Nice clean room with a comfortable bed. Old-fashioned hotel with restaurant downstairs. Overlooks channel into Lake Eerie.

Cons:

One cavil: thermostat was preset and couldn’t be adjusted.

Owner/Mgmt should have to stay in room 403 overnight...Maybe they will do something to fix things
Pros:

Location was downtown but on Monday and Tuesday, the downtown and hotel restaurant are all closed. That is the best I can say about the place

Cons:

The A/C unit(s) makes a loud sound when starting up. Then it makes weird noises throughout the cycle. Monday, I was sweating in bed it was so hot in the room.
The place is going down hill fast. It is not worth a 7.7 rating (Good). It is closer to a dive.
