Absolutely gorgeous place to stay staff food wine it’s soooo relaxing
Stunning surroundings. The most amazing view from the room & restaurant
Stunning views, incredible studio with private plunge pool - world class food and wine
Nothing
Better indications to go for walks around would be a good addition.
Breakfast options were varied. The breakfast room had a pleasant outlook and there is an option for dining outside.
Provision of a shuttle service to Franschhoek would have been a bonus.
Gorgeous location. 5 minute drive of town.
DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU WANT BATHROOM PRIVACY! The toilet is literally in the bedroom space.
When I checked in,(How should I put this?) the toilet showed evidence of recent use! Also, half-finished bottle of soda in the room.
When I discussed my concerns onsite, I got a $10 bottle of wine.I emailed on my return and they did offer a "value voucher" for 2 days, but I couldn't get clarification of what that meant (10% off? 100% off?).Each time I emailed about the above, there were delays of several days in getting responses from customer service and then on the third email, no response. Very very poor customer service for a place of this caliber and price
I expected a world class luxury experience but I got a Holiday Inn in a beautiful setting.
Very high service levels and great views
The attention to detail regarding service was second to none and the location beautiful
Beautiful location
It was very expensive! The bathroom was spacious but lacked privacy; tedious to get from hotel / our room to the restaurant; the wine tasting was not very professional; dinner not worth the prices and the restaurant was very dark;
La Petite Ferme is a place that wins you over with its aesthetics. The location is absolutely brilliant, and the views are simply fantastic – the scenery alone is enough to make you leave feeling generally satisfied with your stay.
Room Privacy: Having the toilet and the bed in the same room without the possibility of closing a door is a nightmare. This complete lack of privacy is a major downside that significantly impacts the comfort of the stay.
Dining: The food is okay, but if you stay longer than 3 days, the options become very limited. The menu simply doesn't offer enough variety for a longer visit (lunch menu same as dinner menu).
Swimming Pool: The water was very cold and not heated, which is surprising for this type of hotel.
The view was insane from the Helene suite! Very good location can walk into town.
Stayed in Baboon Rock Suite, lovely spacious room with all the facilities required plus a complimentary bottle of wine. The view was spectacular. Absolutely loved it. Complimentary wine tasting was also well received and the evening meal beautiful, especially the fishcakes starter. Breakfast also one of the best of our trip around the area.
Nothing. Could not really find fault with anything, but we should have stayed there an exra day or so.
The location is stunning and our stay was very comfortable. The staff was very accommodating. We had an early flight in the morning and they even prepared breakfast for us to take on the road . The food at the restaurant is also great.
My stay was too short to say anything bad . Everything was great .
Gorgeous view and pool area. Private balcony’s are also lovely and the restaurant was fabulous
My boyfriend wrote to tell them he was planning on proposing here and they didn’t acknowledge that which I thought was a shame. It was an expensive stay and compared to all the fantastic hotels available in the area, I’m not sure this is value for money
The views were absolutely spectacular! And each room had so much privacy that it seemed as if we were the only ones there. The bed was very comfortable and the room very spacious. The staff were really friendly and helpful.
Nothing. It was amazing.
