Gulf Hills Hotel & Resort

We enjoyed our stay at Gulf Hills. It was very clean and nicely decorated. Everyone was very nice. We traveled with dogs and there was in a great area to walk them. We were in the process of moving and had a Uhaul with us. It was a very safe area. I will definitely stay here again.

Lynn was absolutely wonderful during checkin. Told us about the property and amenities. The room was clean and quiet. We will return!

Beautiful and safe area and close to a lot of attractions and restaurants. The only thing we can complain was there was no hot water one day.

Gulf Hills Resort is awesome!!! It is clean. The staff is friendly. It is quaint, quiet and charming. The pool is great!! We love going!

They do not get local network tv, so don’t plan on watching your favorite team. Must share hot water because I did not ever get my share.

The hotel was very quaint. Had nice amenities. It was like stepping back in time with all the hospitality and kindness in the room swore well appointed.

Completely disappointed and 100% misled by the photos, the inconvenience and the lack of concern when speaking to the staff multiple times…especially the day of checkout when we were returning our keys, and I was asked how was your stay and I responded with OK. The woman with blonde hair said no tell me what’s wrong what happened and I said we had a giant ROACH, and she said ohh, you’re the one that called. I didn’t wanna make a scene so I remained quiet because the lobby was full of people checking in. however her response was we will be in touch with you and make this right and figure out how to credit you back. It has been 12 hours and I have yet to hear a word. Or stay was awful, completely awful. The pictures that we took represent a completely different version of what we thought we were getting. I expect when there is Resort in the name of a property… It is in fact that. Not a motel or a place to stay when you need somewhere to Crash.
I was extremely embarrassed to say the least because I booked this merely off of photos provided by the Internet. When someone checks out and you know there is a problem and the first thing you say is you’re going to make it right and then you do nothing to resolve this poor management. We were also greeted by somebody knocking on our doortaking away our fire detector and saying if there was a problem you have to report it. I don’t wanna even get into the roach problem that kept us up all night requesting a late check out.

The staff were great and inside the lobby/bar/pool area is nice. I did not realize when booking that some of the rooms had outside entry. It was raining when we arrived and got quite wet trying to get to our rooms. Also, there is no elevator. If you have a lot of luggage or older members of your party, as we did, you will want to request a room on the first floor.

The lady Khalila WAS amazing

Staff was super nice and helpful. Interior design around the hotel was lovely as well as comfortable for reading, etc. Lots of nice outdoor seating, too.

The bed was very comfortable, fun property on the golf course.
