Good traditional breakfast and the host is kind. The rooms are clean (beds, sink, toilet).

Cons:

There are mold and some bugs, but that is expected here. The shower is not really comfortable.

Better avoiding smoking and doing the party if the rooms are allocated to different people.

Few people are in a party with smoking in night with messy sounds which disturbed the sleeping and breathing issue due to smoke inside the building.

Exceptional
Pros:

We have been to Anuradhapura several times and stayed in different accommodations. The heritage thambapanni was definitely our absolute favorite.
Very nice hostess, large, clean room, good location, generally very well-kept and well maintained.
Super tasty and plentiful dinner and breakfast.

Lovely people & food, clean & comfortable room
Pros:

Located close to Anuradhapura main station, with most amenities only a short walk away.
Hosts Sarath & his wife were amazing throughout, very easy to contact and arrange things to do.
Room was clean & as shown on pictures.
Traditional breakfasts were always great and we utilised the option for dinner a few times which meant we got to experience delicious home-cooked traditional food.
They also put us in contact with a great driver Tharanga, who was always very friendly & helpful.
Difficult to fault the stay and very good value for money!

Pros:

We were overall satisfied with the accommodation. The owner was very active, contacted us immediately and asked about our needs. His wife was there, although her English was a little less than perfect, but it was enough to communicate. We had a very good breakfast and a really delicious dinner, although at a relatively high price.

Cons:

Unfortunately, the location on the maps given by Booking does not match and we had a big problem finding the accommodation. We had to ask and call the owner, in the end the accommodation was a few hundred meters away. We also did not like that we were charged separately for drinking water, which we received with breakfast and dinner, without being told in advance.

Pros:

The Staff here are very helpful. But Drinking Water is chargeable even with included Breakfast. Rooms are clean with enough space.

Cons:

They were not able to provide Lunch and Dinner as per requirement.
