Would stay again - we had a pleasant stay
Pros:

Great breakfast. Great room for a family of 4 as it had 4 single beds. Coin laundry facilities if needed.

Cons:

We went in Cherry Blossom season so the room was $900 a night - a bit overpriced for what the room offered. But I guess that is all of Japan at that time.

Great stay in Kyoto in a new hotel.
Pros:

New hotel with all amenities needed, we had a quadruple room which was very big , clean although dark. Located in the new area very calm and quiet and 20 min walk or 5 min taxi ride from Gion. Staff very kind and helpful but spoke limited English.

Cons:

Breakfast could be more diverse… no bread exists unless u ask, no butter or jam… no pastry products… just few salads/fruits/ one ham type. Warm meals were delicious, but there are 3 choices only. Coffee not so good. Too bad as the hotel overall is supper nice but breakfast choices need to catch up.

Good location, good vibe, not good food. Eat elsewhere.
Pros:

The location is good, close to the subway and good restaurants around it. The room has enough space and the price was fair. The vibe is also nice.

Cons:

The breakfast is bad, a total mess especially because many excursions come together. They missed our order for 2 times, and finally cancelled as we had to leave. No refund. We had dinner at the hotel, again messed up the order and the portions were very small. Food is not a strength in this hotel.

Pros:

Facilities were excellent and the room was a very good size, especially compared to what we had in Tokyo. Staff were friendly and the breakfast was good with a selection of hot dishes to order or a buffet to select your own salad, cereal and toast etc.

Cons:

Would have appreciated a daily room service as opposed to every two days.

Cons:

We wanted to grab a beer at the restaurant but the people in charge were very rude, and told us to wait even that they had free tables and seats.

As an hospitality worker i know how to manage guest service on high season and this wasnt the case.

I wouldnt wait 30 min anywhere to have a beer at my hotel bar.

Breakfast at the restaurant was bad.

The rest is good, rooms and baths are nice

Super hotel!
Pros:

Hele mooie kamer. Ruim.
Heel erg aardig personeel. Super ontbijt. Hele mooie lounge gedeelte met restaurant waar je heerlijk kan eten en drinken. Ligging is ook super. In het centrum!

Cons:

Had graag een gym gedeelte gehad

Pros:

Room was spacious and modern (especially the bathroom). Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was OK - I think it needs to be improves a bit (more choices for hot food).

Cons:

We did laundry once, but after 3 hours our clothes were still wet so we had to use facilities for drying them outside the hotel.
