This is a very cute hotel. The people were so friendly, and my room was clean, well-kept, and really roomy. You can just tell the staff takes genuine pride in the place.

They even called me after I booked online just to thank me and see if I had any questions. I thought that was such a nice, welcoming touch that you don't really see anymore.

Another awesome thing was the small bar right in the breakfast area. After a long day of traveling when I didn't feel like going back out, it was the perfect spot to just wind down.

The pool.

I'd never heard of this hotel, but I gave it a chance based on reviews. It looked very new and there was only one car parked out front so I wondered if it had just opened. The front desk clerk told me it had been there for several years and they had a busy weekend. There's a nice indoor pool (small, no hot tub). The room also looked very new. There's a nice breakfast with waffles, the best looking eggs I've seen in a hotel, yogurt, cereal, etc. The piece of paper when you check in says there's a $2.13 safe fee you can get refunded at checkout, but that wasn't on my bill. Would definitely choose again!

Me and my family stayed at Newport, AR location 4days/3nights and it was a really good time. We went down to celebrate Juneteenth and Fathers Day with family. The Staff was extremely accommodating in regards to getting the extra towels and fresh sheets whenever asked. The breakfast was nice and flavorful..We really enjoyed the waffle maker. Although there is a smell in the hallways of the 3rd floor and in our room, the room was clean and so was the tub which was comforting to us. We went swimming one morning and had it all to ourselves..

Cons: When we initially got in the room it had a potent odor which kinda smelt like feet that lingered a bit even after Febreezing and disinfecting the room. Once we found out it was a pet friendly hotel we immediately knew it wasn't feet but the smell of an animal. Also had to remove a big spider from underwater on the steps of the pool. Not sure how often that's maintained but we still got in and made the most of it.

Recommendations: We would still stay there again, but next time I'll see if they have a non-pet friendly room available if possible. I would definitely recommend this hotel compared the motels for to anyone visiting Newport.

It was nice clean and quiet and the staff was amazing

Staff and rooms were clean, friendly and accommodating. The only issue was the indoor pool. The bottom of the pool was covered with brown algae. Son-in-law and grandkids said the bottom of the pool was slippery. I pointed it out to the desk clerk on Sunday and she agreed that the algae was over the bottom and that she was going to close the pool.

Other than the pool, the rest of the accommodations were excellent. The staff were very friendly.

Hotel was very clean and nicely kept up. Staff was very helpful and friendly. The front desk representative offer to fix out tv for us when it wouldn’t change from the channel set when we turned it on. The breakfast the next morning was delicious and staff was very nice and helpful. Would recommend!

The facilities are clean as was the room.

Rooms were clean, most staff was friendly. Excellent stay except the breakfast cook on Sunday morning. We had allot of kids with us. She told the kids they were limited to one waffle. And limited on food they could get. Then halfway through she didn't let the rest of the kids make waffles. She was very rude telling us we needed to hurry and go back up stairs. And that she wasn't going to refill the food. Until we were gone. She was not happy about being at work at all it seemed. Really amazing she is in the hotel customer service field. We left and went to McDonald's. So ALL the kids could eat. Not sure if we will stay again because of this. -- Madi--
