Perfection. Dream stay
Pros:

Sheraton Belitung is truly a little paradise. The resort is absolutely beautiful, our villa with a private pool was amazing, and the food was excellent throughout our stay. But what really makes this place stand out is the staff — the level of hospitality, warmth and genuine care is simply world-class.

A very special mention goes to Zabila. She is such a genuine, warm and caring person, always cheerful and making everyone feel welcome and at ease. She was especially sweet with our daughter, and her kindness went far beyond what you would normally expect.

It’s often the people who turn a beautiful hotel into an unforgettable experience, and Zabila did exactly that for us. Thank you for your kindness and beautiful energy. We will remember you and our stay at Sheraton Belitung with a big smile.

Comfortable stay with several minor annoyances that somewhat detract from the comfort.
Pros:

Comfortable room (terrace with lagoon view) and bed. Excellent buffet breakfast.

Cons:

Little details are missing. Nowhere to hang wet clothes, not even hooks in bathrooms for towels. The shower would change temperature, hot then cold then hot then cold, water leaks from shower into bathroom. Air con was always cold regardless what temperature you had it. So it was either on or off, nothing in between. No sound proofing in room. The behaviour of guests with the hogging of the lounges by the pool and beach (people would leave things on lounge chairs overnight!) was atrocious, but resort does nothing to curb behaviour.

Relaxing, peaceful, stay for a 3-day break.
Pros:

The hotel location was lovely, surrounded by nature, on both the land and sea. The quality of the facilities was excellent, real value for money. The hotel has easy access to the main beach and watersport attractions.

Cons:

No complaints. The trip went as planned.

RESORT PIÙ BELLO DELL’ISOLA
Pros:

Il mare è bellissimo, non ci sono i graniti tipici di Belitung ma è uno dei mari più belli e puliti dell’ isola, il resort è sicuramente il più bello dell’ isola, abbiamo soggiornato anche allo Swiss bel resort, colazione ottima

Cons:

Siamo stati 3 notti , dopo un po il menu diventa ripetitivo, dovrebbe esserci la possibilità di variare un po di più, per soggiorni più lunghi , oltre la settimana, potrebbe essere un problema

Pleasant & Wonderful
Pros:

I love the beach, room, service staffs & their wide breakfast spread.

Cons:

The taste of drinks & western ala carte food was not up to standard when we ordered for lunch. Were disappointed and we gave feedback. However their traditional food was very good.
Also we were unable to eat their famous seafood dinner over the weekend as they were closed for event. Quite disappointed and would have appreciated if it was offered for the guests alternatively on weekdays.

A quiet and luxurious resort
Pros:

The hotel is about 45 minutes drive from the airport but it’s right next to the ocean and only five minutes drive from the port for island hoping tour.

The hotel has this very minimalistic vibe but still projects its luxury. I really liked its artistic choice. We got a complementary room upgrade to Island Suite, which is very spacious, clean, and quiet. We had an outdoor bathtub and a living room. The swimming pool was warm and long, good for exercising. The breakfast offered many selections and tasted good.

It is surrounded by a jungle where you can do a short trekking with a guide showing its biodiversity.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Pak Dika, the technician, helped us set up our TV screen mirroring.

Overall, we had a perfect stay, particularly considering its price.

Would’ve recommended but then I got to experience the restaurant
Pros:

Amazing atmosphere and very nice structures. Great view on the landscape. Comfortable and clean rooms. Would recommend the resort but NOT the restaurant. 40 minutes (if not more) for the drinks, which by the way aren’t even cold, and even more waiting time for the food. I once received my starter after the main course and ordered by the pool a bottle of water that never arrived. Only good thing is that the ice is made with water from closed bottles.

A beautiful and relaxing stay with excellent service and a very welcoming team.
Pros:

We had a wonderful stay. The resort is beautiful, peaceful and very well maintained, with a relaxing atmosphere and great service. A special thank you to Fredy, who was incredibly kind, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. He really made us feel well taken care of.

Beautiful relaxing calm beach setting. The staff were so warm and welcoming
Pros:

Loved the beach setting and the staff. The blue mind experience was excellent. Although no one told us about this and it was only by chance that we came across it. Reception could do a better job of hi-lighting this partnership when guests arrive, or having information about it rooms.

Cons:

Staff knowledge: we asked about the trek you can do on site and they didn’t know anything about it so we went off to do it. On arriving at whistle trail we’re told by security we couldn’t access it without a guide. If only the staff in reception knew this and told us this. We also asked the reception staff about what to do in town and they seemed a little unsure. It was the restaurant staff who gave us names of coffee places, shops to go to.
We also didn’t like the description of our room: garden view when wasn’t really. And the lead up to our room felt austere. Could do with some decoration. Our room was also too cold and we were unable to adjust the aircon. It was either on and too cold, or off and we then got too warm.
