The Bell Inn is a very friendly comfortable and welcoming place to stay.
Pros:

The restaurant dinner and bar meals were excellent, the food was exceptional.
The Room in the main Inn was very comfortqble and beautifully decorated.

Cons:

The sound proofing where our Room was below another Room in the old part of the Inn, could have been better.

Disappointed
Pros:

Nice location, plenty of parking. Room was exceptionally clean and bed comfortable. Coffee machine in room.

Cons:

Staff member checking me in wasn't particularly friendly or helpful. Just kept repeating that the restaurant would be busy and it would be difficult to fit me in as a solo guest, so I didn't eat there as really didn't feel welcomed. Didn't realise breakfast service didn't start until 8am on Saturday which delayed my onward travels. Breakfast served by two pleasant ladies but breakfast plain and they focussed on a large, rowdy wedding party staying there. Coffee machine in room only had one type of pod and cups provided too small so Coffee overflowed onto table. Room overall tired and could do with renovating

Lovely stay
Pros:

From the start at book in the staff were excellent. We had a small dog with us and made us comfortable in the bar. In the morning at breakfast (which was very nice) they brought an extra sausage for the dog. The food was generally excellent and very reasonable. The room was lovely and well set up. Highly recommended.

Cons:

Nothing
