Staff, styling of hotel and food all excellent.
Pros:

Food very good. Furnishings delightful. Staff very well trained and service excellent. Towels and linens lovely.

Cons:

Room (although happily pet friendly) was quite small and had an adjoining occupied room which meant little privacy both ways, bathrooms although well presented need updating in relation to price.

Great stay
Pros:

Beautiful hotel. Lovely quiet room. Staff all very nice and helpful. Good location to explore nearby Cambridge, Huntingdon and Stamford.
Great breakfast.

Cons:

We booked dinner in the restaurant on Saturday night. The service was very slow. Don't know if that was deliberate so we weren't rushed but there was a long time between courses.

Niet voor herhaling vatbaar
Pros:

A delightful surprise.
Pros:

We needed somewhere to stay to break our journey between Dover and Teesside. Stilton is a perfect location for that, so we were happy to pull off the motorway after two and half hours battling Friday night traffic up from Dover. We were very pleasantly surprised to find the Bell Inn to be a delightful old 16th century coaching inn that has been tastefully and luxuriously decorated. Our room was spacious, and quiet, even though there was a party going on downstairs, we could not hear it in the room. Dinner in the restaurant was really lovely, as was breakfast the following morning. The staff, without exception, were pleasant and welcoming. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Cons:

Nothing

Pros:

Check in was easy

Cons:

There was a disco under my room which made it impossible to be in there
Tap water took for ever to warm so washed in cold water
It was clear that we were being rushed to finish our dinner and last orders

We will be back. Loved it
Pros:

Very good, clean, and comfortable, traditionally furnshed room. Staff very friendly from welcome to departure. Breakfasts both days were lovely. Plenty of choice and freshly cooked. Continental choice too. Could order food not even on menu. Great, thumbs up for this. Quality ingredients. Easy parking. Will be back

Cons:

We were in RM21. A lovely superior room in the 'original' part of the hotel. It overlooks the main road, so we got a little bit of late night noise. Nothing major. Second night, we were woken by early morning [@7am] beer delivery under our window. Noise for @30 mins. This did not detract from our stay. The main built-in wardrobe is situated in the hallway of the room. It could do with a small light in the robe itself.very dark

A comfortable convenient location for a family celebration.
Pros:

The property was in a great location just off the A1.
The room was comfortable but old fashioned as I guess you would expect from this type of property.

Cons:

The shower in the room wasn’t great. Hard to switch on and underpowered.
We had both lunch and dinner at the hotel and the lunch menu was more varied than the evening menu. The food was pricey.
