Nice room in a lovely pub
Pros:

Lovely location with nice rooms. Booked it many times.
The staff is very nice, especially the breakfast team.

Cons:

My last stay was in a room with only bath and no shower. Not really for me. Nothing wrong with the place but I didn't appreciate it was the case.
The only improvement would be to have a plug next to the bed.

Excellent service throughout in an amazing, unique building. Well done to all those involved.
Pros:

Choice of breakfast was very good as was the quality when served. The staff were extremely friendly and made you feel welcome. Check throughout if we we satisfied.
We also had some lunch at the Wellington, which was excellent.

Cons:

No negatives at all. You have to accepted that the team at the Wellington have done an amazing job with a wonderful building. However, not the best environment for the elderly or anyone expecting easy access to the bedrooms.

Named after the Duke of Wellington after he defeated Napoleon.
Pros:

The charm of the old beams, the furniture and the room layout. The shower water was also boiling hot which given the age of the building I was impressed with. The room had a lovely ambiance.

Cons:

Nothing.
