Lovely clean modern hotel room as expected and wonderfully cool in this hot weather..bed comfortable. .we were moved to a room on a lower floor due my mobility not 100% I didn’t feel the room was set up for guests no milk few sugars .after a long journey us English need a cuppa..I booked a twin room to be given a large double bed as I was with my daughter we decided to put up with it rather than be moved again..but disappointed..Breakfast good everything you could wish for and more..lovely terrace outside the restaurant for relaxing…I’m sure most travellers would rate Hilton hotels highly.
On our arrival the floor manager spoke to my daughter and said he had concerns for my safety ..in a emergency he told her she would have to be responsible for me when she assured him I was quiet able and could manage the stairs and in all scenarios she would help me he insisted..he promptly chose to move us both to a disabled room..all this without talking to me at all..he appointed one of the reception staff to aid us and asked my daughter to sign a form to state her responsibility..My annoyance is never once did he speak to me first rule in caring for the disabled is speak to the client a human being after all…as a customer who paid for the room I felt I should of had respect surely….Disability training /communication training needed 100% .

The bar was shut before the time set on website and we could not get a drink when we came in.
