The hotel is not bad, but considering the price and the brand's standards, I expected much more.
Pros:

Mövenpick Villas & Residences Phu Quoc is a solid but only average hotel overall.

The magnificent ocean view and the beautiful beach are definitely positive highlights: palm trees, soft sand, perfect access to the water, and everything clean and clear. However, to be fair, it must be said that this is not a unique feature of Phu Quoc – many other hotels there also offer beautiful views and good beaches.

In addition, the rooms were clean, the fitness centre was well equipped and medical assistance was quick, free and helpful when needed.

Cons:

The main negative for me was the breakfast. The selection was rather poor, it was crowded, noisy and there were clearly not enough staff. Some of the staff seemed inattentive, overworked and, in some cases, unfriendly. I did not feel comfortable there at all.

The food at lunchtime and in the evening was also disappointing: the prices were high, but this was not reflected in the quality.

In addition, the room offered little storage space for clothes and personal belongings, which is impractical for a longer stay.

Pros:

It’s a very nice location to spend a couple of beach and pool days. The view of the tropical gardens and the sea in the background with sundowns is exceptional. On the downside are occasional noisy events, like foam parties at the pool and the pricing. €450 for a double room is more than twice as much as we paid for any other outstanding hotel in a six week Vietnam trip.

It was okay, the room and service are not quite meet the price.

Pros:

Мы отдыхали на вилле, идти пешком до моря 5 минут, у кого была вилла дальше ехали на гольф машине. Отель свежий, есть развлечения для детей на бассейне, персонал отзывчивый. Вечером можно дойти до магазина пешком минут 10 за территорию отеля, купить сувениров и местного пива ) на такси добраться нет никаких проблем, заказывал через grab дешево и быстро.

Cons:

Очень странно что были лежаки у моря но всем не хватало матросов для них, многие после 11 не могли найти свободный лежак, хотя зона пляжа достаточно большая. Также в январе бассейн был прохладней чем вода на море.

Pros:

Everything was as expected. Villa was spacious and clean.

Cons:

The stairs are wooden, yet the last step to ground floor is marble same colour and material as the floor serve as camouflage. 4 out of 5 guests almost trip / fell as we did not expect there is one more step. The fifth guest did not have problem because she did not have to use the stairs.
