Very disappointed and dissatisfied.Never use this hotel again.

It was a very cold room.I had a room temperature set to the desired temperature but still made no difference.At 2 am I phone the receptionist and complained and was told that they have to set the temperature from the panel in reception so the receptionist set the temperature and was told it will take approximately 20 minutes for the room get to room set temperature.This made no difference and we had a very uncomfortable night.My wife is asthmatic and suffered all night.I spoke to the receptionist in the morning during breakfast and she checked and said that the night person had not done ok in the panel so room was not set to the temperature required.
My question is WHY is there a room temperature control in the room which is controlled by reception panel.
My wife’s asthma became wore so next day had the go to A&E at Ealing Hospital,West London and got treated.

it served it's purpose but needs to get the staffing right at peak times, an average hotel
Pros:

Location good not affected by the Motorway traffic noise. Breakfast fair but insufficient staff to maintain a good service, constantly running out of items and no teaspoons available for tea and coffee.

Cons:

More staff available to maintain breakfast availability ESPECIALLY AT THE BUSIER WEEKEND DAYS.. we were told when we arrived that there would not be a car park charge for our 3 day stay due to the computer system not being available but when we came to checking out we were told we had to pay for the car park with no apology given, not very well handled at the Reception desk

Pros:

Location is amazing, easy access. nice view of reservoir, friendly staff, one of the cleanest hotel rooms we have ever stayed in.

Cons:

A little on the steep side for 1 night at £94, £70 would be reasonable.

The hotel was great beautifully clean rooms immaculate very quiet

Cons:

The bed was like a brick i could feel every pressure point on my body, the pillows were too soft and just uncomfortable I didn't sleep all night.i wouldn't go back because of this which is a shame as it was a lovely hotel and a great area for going to different places.

Pros:

Warm welcome from staff and accommodating of our needs. This is well sited for my visits to Blackburn

Cons:

The breakfast was poor - there was a more limited choice that usual and the hot food seemed to have been on the hotplates a long time. Ordered food from the bar the night before and it was poor quality for the price paid.
