Amazing Stay in London
Pros:

We loved the location of the property - as we could walk basically everywhere from there. Also with the DLR you travel easily from London City Airport to the Hotel. The staff was very friendly and the room was very spacious and always clean.

Overall it was satisfactory.
Pros:

I liked the location since it was within walking distance to the Tower of London and the tube. It was my second stay (first was 4 years ago.) I also enjoyed having the large refrigerator and a microwave. I would have liked to have been given two room key cards rather than one.( In the elevator when going up, it would be nice if it was written somewhere that you need to use your room key before you can select which floor to get off. ) I appreciated the helpfulness of concierges (Gabriel on days but didn't catch name of gentlemen working evenings.) I liked the way the housekeepers get room cleaned in the first part of the day, versus coming in after 3 pm. I liked the way there is a small bar of soap to wash my face; don't like having to use body wash. I was on tour so my reservation was in two parts: days reserved by tour company and then two days reserved by myself thru Booking.com. I never thought to remind the front desk the night before that I would be staying on my own for two more nights. I am grateful the clerk was able to work me in.

Cons:

I think the price of breakfast (27 pounds) is outrageous, esp. since there is no menu to order special items such as a waffle. I don't like being in a "house of mirrors". I think it is a little dangerous because I accidentally almost walked into the walls more than once.

Séjour très décevant pour un établissement qui se positionne comme haut de gamme.
Nous avons été particulièrement surpris par la politique tarifaire appliquée. Malgré la présentation d’un tarif inférieur (environ 100 € / £ de moins pour une chambre équivalente), l’hôtel a maintenu un prix nettement plus élevé, en justifiant cela par une prétendue fluctuation des prix, sans explication claire ni transparente. Cette absence de cohérence et de lisibilité laisse un réel sentiment d’injustice, voire d’opacité dans la gestion des tarifs.
Par ailleurs, nous avions formulé une demande spécifique de lits jumeaux, qui n’a tout simplement pas été respectée à notre arrivée, sans aucune anticipation ni solution proposée spontanément. Pour un hôtel de ce standing, ce type de négligence est difficilement acceptable.
Au regard du niveau de prix pratiqué, nous attendions un service irréprochable et une attention réelle portée aux demandes des clients. Malheureusement, l’expérience ne reflète en rien les standards attendus d’un établissement cinq étoiles.
Nous repartons avec un sentiment global de manque de considération et de professionnalisme

Perfect London Marathon Stayover.
Pros:

The staff, accommodations and Italian restaurant were all v. good. The service throughout was 5*

Cons:

It would have been good to have had more dishwasher tabs and some equipment for hand washing up in the kitchenette. Plus a plug for the kitchen sink. Small things really ....
