Really good location between Conwy and Snowdonia.
Noise was a little sensitive between walls otherwise really great stay. Comfy beds.
Nothing atll
The room was extremely damp and a snail was in my hair when I woke up. It is called a hotel but is a rundown lodge. I would like a refund as it was extremely horrible.
Clean and comfortable room
Peaceful location and so easily accessible from the main north wales coast road
Super helpful and easy check in.
Felt private with additional services if I needed them.
Bathroom was basic but had everything I needed and everything worked as expected.
Liked the daily refresh which was much appreciated.
Loved the local walks
Staff were extremely helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. The room was a decent size to say it was for 4 people. Alfie cooked a delicious meal and it was cheap. Within a 15 minute drive from villages that have shops, restaurants etc. Gorgeous view from the rooms at the back. Large, free car park and the bar area is lovely and cosy. Take some cash for sweet treats they sell at the bar and for the pool table. If the staff can help you at all, they will. If we book again it will be because the staff are lovely and so is the area.
The noise!! Not from the road, or nature... from other people! There is a notice in every room asking people to be respectful but I'm guessing they don't listen... not the owners fault at all! A lot of places locally are closed Tuesdays so be cautious if booking mid-week, you may need to venture further out for food which can work out rather pricey if you're travelling with a family. The shower is old and not very good. If you have it on max you get burnt, if you have it on eco, the rain is more useful! Probably should have tried the bath but the weather was way too hot for that! Overall, not the worst place I've stayed. Take away the noise from other ridiculously loud people and I would stay here again.
Easy to find, staff friendly, decent size room and nice touch with tea, coffee and biscoffs.
Small bathroom, with sink outside of bathroom bit odd. Bathroom floor sticky.
Gorgeous area, nice and simple to get in, room was clean and straightforward, I definitely would choose this kind of layout over a hotel room any day
Location only.
You could hear everything going on in the neighbouring room, you could also hear the other rooms as well. Bed is very uncomfortable, towels were very thin. We left early the noise was so bad.
It was in a beautiful location very clean and comfortable and the staff were lovely
Nothing
Quiet countryside location.
The owner cool man.
Didn't go ,but there is also simple bar at the hotel.
No sink in the toilet and instead of that was in the room.
nice peaceful good beds clean ,value for money ,staff great.
The location of the Hotel was convenient to local town and amenities
It was a quiet location
Whilst named as a Hotel, this was more of an American Motel Style dwelling, the rooms were Motel style chalet rooms, so if you are booking make sure you are aware.
The 'Bathroom' was very cramped and dated, The Shower did not work in our Chalet so we had to wash in the sink. The 'Mountain View' was a little misleading, as the view was of the village we were staying in and the Mountains were way off in the distance (not worth paying for).
On Entering and Exiting the chalet you were immediately swamped from the constant smoking of the staff outside, so didnt add to the 'luxury' ambiance and ratings that the listing stated
Really reasonably priced for the one night stay. Comfortable bed.
No frills accommodation in a great location for Snowdonia national park or the seaside towns
Bit run down and could do with some tlc
