Great hotel, and excellent location
Just like all the hotels in the area, they jack up the prices whenever there is a special event in town.
The service was impeccable from the valet to the room. Ate on the premise. Used the fitness facility. And wandered the beautiful town.
Really nothing comes to mind.
This hotel has Front Desk and systems issues and was poorly designed. We barely slept.
The night before we checked in, I called the hotel to make a couple of requests for our room location and to ask for some foam pillows because I have a feather allergy. The woman that I spoke with at midnight was condescending and rude. She even hung up on me.
The sign on the valet stand indicated that self-parking was $20. It cost us $25, because something wasn’t functioning within the hotel, and they recommended that we pay for parking ourselves, which would be faster.
It took an hour to find a room that didn’t have an air conditioning system that was making bad noises. Carl, the engineer, verified that the systems were noisily malfunctioning; our 1st 2 rooms were taken out of service. The 3rd sounded ok, but 3 hours after we turned it on as low we could (65°), it was still 73° in the room. (And the same temperature the next a.m.) The system was blowing air at 69.4°. It should have been blowing air out that was at max 55°.
All we can say is thank God for Carl. He brought us the keys to the 3rd room, so we didn’t have to deal with the long wait for elevators again (1 was down). He also brought us a fan. Carl is the most professional, personable person at this property. (The front desk was unhelpful and implied that we did not know how an air-conditioning unit should work.)
Science recommends darkness to sleep. This hotel made bad design choices that impact it, such as a frosted glass slider bathroom door that offered no privacy and no way to use the toilet in the middle of the night or early morning without waking anyone else up. There was also a super bright, white night light in the hall that was the brightest we’d ever seen.
At 3.30am, the TV woke us up, coming on with a message that it would “shut off” soon if we did not press a button. We had shut it off. At midnight.
The conditioner in the shower was empty.
Upon informing AJ at the FD re the fact that the room never cooled down and was still 73 when we woke up, she said she would refund all our points. This did not happen.
This hotel has a lot of work to do. It is definitely the last AC hotel we will stay at. Every one has had an issue with its air conditioning. Ironic.
The bed was the most
It was very nice and clean. Staff was great.
We had no hot water.
The hotel was clean and the staff were very friendly. Joy was able to give us half off on our stay. I would give the hotel another try.
The hot water, internet, phones and TV stopped working around 10pm out first night. They gave us free breakfast for the inconvenience. Unfortunately, as of 1pm Saturday still not hot water. We had to pack up and find another hotel.
The internet was down, no hot water, tv and phone did not work we were not told before we checked in
Great staff
Na
Very confident to peace center
A little pricey
Location was incredible. Great value for location and price. We came for our anniversary and it was the perfect getaway for a night. We will be back!
It was all great!
Horrible experience.
This is my letter to management: Hi John,
I am writing as I am in your AC Hotel in Greenville and rented a suite and am beyond disappointed. First off when we entered the door was damaged and would nit close easily due to a small metal panel being damaged. The puzzling part of this was that we had to wait almost three hours for the room to be cleaned when we arrived so how could someone not notice the issue with the door. The room was not cleaned and given it is a suite it should be cleaned. I would have paid more for better service. Additionally no water pressure in the bathroom. I will see to it that anyone trying come here are well informed.
The hotel is extremely clean and well kept. All the hotel staff that I had the pleasure of interaction with were extremely kind and friendly. We took advantage of the hotel bar and valet service which were both extremely convenient!
there really is nothing that I can say negatively about the hotel. The one downside that I experienced was with the valet service. My girlfriend was going to be taking my truck back without me so I asked if she could be added to the text list to request the vehicle. They were extremely accommodating and added her without question. This kicked me out from being able to request my vehicle. While this is an extremely minor annoyance; I do wish that I could set up more than one person to pick up vehicles.
