I would not stay here again
Pros:

Nicely situated in London. Walking distance to many must-sees.

Cons:

We chose a four star hotel because we wanted to have a clean space, but unfortunately that was not the case. We even put towels on the sofa because we did not want to sit on it. The restaurant/bar was closed upon arrival at 8:30 and there was no opportunity to eat something after our plane was delayed. Breakfast was sober. You could choose out of two dishes.

Ganz ok, aber wir werden wohl nicht mehr kommen.

Das Beste war die direkte Lage an der Themse und der Ausblick auf die Stadt. Insbesondere bei Nacht ein wunderschöner Blick auf die beleuchtete Stadt. Auch die direkte Lage an der Millenium Bridge ist ein Hingucker. Wer sich allerdings eher Richtung Innenstadt orientieren möchte (Oxford Street usw.) ist bisschen weit weg.

Cons:

Die Wohnungen/Zimmer sind inzwischen doch sehr abgenutzt. Insgesamt sind das Hotel und auch die Wohnungen/Zimmer finster. Die vom Hotel gestellten Bilder täuschen da etwas. Der Kühlschrank z. B. konnte nicht richtig geschlossen werden, dadurch konnte er auch nicht richtig kühlen. Bei einer Schranktür kam uns diese beim Öffnen direkt entgegen. Sauberkeit war ok. Es könnte aber auch sauberer sein (Staub). Im Bad hat immer eine der beiden Lampen geflattert. Entweder die obere oder die untere. Auch bis das Wasser in der Dusche heiß wurde, hats gedauert. Am meisten genervt haben jedoch der gelangweilt wirkende und Lolly lutschende Mitarbeiter am Frühstück, der uns erst mal genervt erklärt hat, wie das 'Frühstück' dort funktioniert, und es hat nicht mal geschmeckt. Im Watch House um die Ecke an der Millenium Bridge kostet es weniger und schmeckt 100-mal besser (Tipp).

An absolute pleasure to stay for a London adventure

Great location on the river.
Pros:

Gorgeous location along the river by Millennium Bridge. Cross the bridge for restaurants, museums, Shakespeare. Air conditioning was wonderful, because I was visiting in the heat wave.

Pros:

Wir hatten einen rundum gelungenen Aufenthalt im Locke at Broken Wharf. Die Lage direkt an der Themse ist ideal, um London zu Fuß oder mit der Bahn zu erkunden und gleichzeitig einen ruhigen Rückzugsort zu haben.

Die Zimmer sind modern eingerichtet, sehr sauber und durchdacht gestaltet, sodass man sich auch bei längeren Aufenthalten wohlfühlt. Besonders praktisch ist die kleine Küchenzeile, die den Aufenthalt flexibel macht. Das Design wirkt hochwertig, ohne überladen zu sein.

Das Personal war durchweg freundlich und hilfsbereit, check in und Check out liefen unkompliziert. Auch bei Fragen oder kleinen Anliegen wurde schnell und unkompliziert unterstützt.

Insgesamt eine klare Empfehlung für alle, die eine stilvolle und gut gelegene Unterkunft in London suchen, die Hotelkomfort mit Apartmentgefühl verbindet.

Customer service from the receptionist was unacceptable
Pros:

I had issues with the oven not working and was desperate for something to eat. The receptionist was most unhelpful and didn’t do much to resolve and frankly didn’t care. I was told there were no rooms available but after my 4th visit to the reception almost in tears for food I eventually got given a new room with a working oven. Air con didn’t work properly so had an uncomfortable night with little sleep. Corridor smelt of sewerage.
I have used Locke at other locations and at this location for years but this has put me off staying in future.
I am giving 2 stars on service only because the male receptionist was more friendly and helpful.
Customer service is not good in this property and hasn’t been for my last 3 visits. Learn from Ember and Eden Locke where customer service is excellent. I won’t be back.
