This was our second stay at the Maverick, and is not likely to be our last.
Pros:

Great location near Mesa campus. Very clean, ample room accessories (coffee maker and condiments, refrigerator); would have liked a refrigerator that had a freezer.

Everything was great except for the amenity charges I was not aware of when I booked my reservation.

Great experience and friendly staff.
Pros:

We were staying at hotel to attend a Graduation. The staff provided us maps of the nearby campus and offered suggestions on how to get around the campus.

They will charge your cards multiple times beware
Pros:

My husband and I stayed here a few days ago they charged the initial fee w incidentals etc, after leaving our card was charged twice bank confirmed it was on their end and they’re saying it’s not the manager was 0 help. The room was almost $400 for a crappy bed and small room, front desk was rude, and they aren’t fixing the issue. Would never come back here and would put 0 stars if I could. What a joke of an “upscale hotel”

Best Hotel Grand Junction area.
Pros:

Well appointed hotel with a well trained and hospitable staff. Outstanding Restaurant. My go to hotel when on the Western Slope or Grand Junction for business.

Great hotel in Grand Junction
Pros:

Great hotel on the campus of the University . The hotel is modern and sleek and very comfortable. The lobby was warm and inviting with freshly made free popcorn. Our room was spacious and contained nice amenities including a small fridge with bottled water and a kurig for making coffee or hot water . The bathroom was spacious and had a wonderful shower with Beekman products on a dispenser mounted on the shower wall. There was a fitness facility on our floor with a Peleton bike that I really appreciated !
We used the hot tub located outside on the main level which was lovely. They have robes and large towels to use at the front desk. This was a really nice touch!
We ate dinner at a wonderful restaurant on site " Devils Kitchen"- highly recommend . Also had great free drip coffee downstairs in the coffee shop and bought a terrific breakfast sandwhich down there as well .
Highly recommend this hotel and we will definitely return!

Our Favorite Place
Pros:

We love the Hotel Maverick in Grand Junction, CO! We are welcomed when we arrive, our accommodations are clean and comfortable. The restaurant is so delicious, as is the coffee shop. We try and book this hotel every time we are in Grand Junction!

I love the hot tub and will return.
Pros:

Chose to work with coffee shop in lobby. It was grand.

Cons:

Dined at the Devils Thumb and although you don't specifically ask, the salads we ordered were a little on the tired side. Otherwise, great food and service.
