I love the beautiful, sophisticated interior design. And I love the friendly helpful staff. And I love the cleanliness.
There’s not a thing I didn’t like.
We love the deluxe king ada rooms, very clean!
Regular king room was not the best. But okay.
Very impressed with Hotel Maverick! Very clean, amazing staff (shoutout to Chloe at the Devils Kitchen!) and great modern amenities. Highly recommmend.
Excellent. Portions were a lil small
Nothing
We arrived a little after 4. They said our room wasn’t ready. So we sat down and waited. Less than 10 minutes later they said it was ready. We went up and they had our bottle of wine fresh on wine. They waited for us to arrive to put everything out for us! Every thing was so was fresh and worth it!
WOW!! We were so surprised to find such an awesome hotel in a sea of chain hotels!
Really great property!
Our only disappointment was the bakery’s breakfast, but the restaurant was great.
Staff were very nice on check in. Room is fresh and modern which is expected given age of property. Perfectly adequate for one night stay.
It would be good if hotels could design their bathrooms to have a bit more privacy than sliding doors allows.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Fantastic stay! The rooms were spotless, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the amenities were excellent. I couldn't find my bathroom bag, and the staff went above and beyond to help me out—they were so friendly and genuinely cared.
The food was amazing, and the coffee and breakfast were outstanding. Great service from start to finish. I'll definitely be bringing my family back. Highly recommend!

Top notch! Rooms had several amenities and Devils Kitchen was absolutely amazing! Would definitely recommend it!
The rooms were large.
The rooms! Even though they were large, the beds weren’t the best. I don’t think you should call their pillows, pillows. I go for torture device. I didn’t have a decent nights sleep at all. The restaurant, you can’t call it that. A restaurant is where you sit down and get a menu. Instead you pay top dollar to stand in line, and wait and wait and wait. Then you get food that is so so. Ugh!!
Front desk staff was phenomenal, went above and beyond with a unique situation we had.
4th floor restaurant staff was ok, they need to communicate better and more warmly to customers, had a bit of a ‘chip on their shoulders’.
A stay at the Hotel Maverick totally elevated my recent trip to Grand Junction (for a couple of doctors visits) to a fun and special vacation. As an interior designer and architectural photographer, I was totally impressed with the beautiful and sophisticated design of the building, the lobby, hallways, bedrooms, bathrooms, coffee shop and Devil’s Kitchen restaurant (with a sweeping view of the campus), down to the smallest detail. The hotel is very well run by students in the Hospitality program at Colorado Mesa University, and they couldn’t have been more friendly and engaging. It’s obvious they love what they are doing. I was told that students in the Culinary program help design the menu (which had a number of creative and delicious offerings) and some serve as line cooks in the kitchen. The meal, service, and dining atmosphere at the Devil’s Kitchen were all superior. What could have been a boring trip, with a stay at the same ol’ run-of-the-mill hotel, turned into a fun, refreshing and inspiring experience! These students deserve more than a five star rating! I can’t wait to stay there again!
