Great location for easy commute to Bristol and Bath. Also the building is very old and historic so it s more interesting than an average hotel room.

Cons:

Breakfasts were a bir late on the weekend if you want to have an early start.

Pros:

Breakfast was great, staff were very polite and helpful and the hotel was very clean

Cons:

The rooms are tired, the bed in Room 6 was uncomfortable, as were the pillows which were like rocks. Needs modernising and updating.

Had a brilliant time, great weather, food & accommodation.
Pros:

The room was very pleasant & clean. Plenty of towels, tea, coffee, milk & very comfortable beds. Despite having the bedroom above the dinning room, we didn't find it too noisy, it was always quiet by 10pm. All the staff were very helpful & friendly. Good choices of different breakfasts, they were very tasty & filling. Trains & buses are close by for transport links to Bath & Bristol. Came with my hubby this time, stayed here before on my own & with my sister, always felt safe. Would definitely stay here again plus recommend it to friends.

Cons:

The road outside & to the side of the hotel is very busy, you had to have a bit of patience waiting to cross this road. This is my only negative thing I have to say - but it in no way is to do with the hotel. The hotel was there many years before this main road.

Good value for money.
Pros:

Friendly helpful staff. Great location. Nice bedrooms.

Cons:

Due to being an old building the sound isolation is not great. WI-FI very weak.
