Very comfortable. Very good breakfast. Nice, interesting and `quirky` building, built 1609 apparently.
Staff welcoming on arrival. Breakfast good. Lovely hot bath.
Room very cold on arrival and in need of decorating. The heating did not come on in our room at all so we used a blow heater that had been provided. We found the bed hard and uncomfortable.
From the very start, the manager and staff were incredibly helpful and supportive, making us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we arrived. Every member of the team was friendly, attentive, and clearly cared about making our stay special.
They went above and beyond by helping to set up a beautiful outdoor romantic area, complete with a softly lit seating area and a bottle of champagne. It was perfectly done and created such a memorable and intimate moment for us.
Our room was quiet, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable — exactly what we needed after such a special day. Breakfast the next morning was excellent, with great food and a lovely, relaxed atmosphere.
We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone, especially for a special occasion.
Thank you to the entire team for helping make our engagement truly unforgettable.
Location good, handy for rail to bristol or bath
Breakfast good.

Menu was limited
Interesting old historic property. Loved the beams & dark furniture in my bedroom & the lovely window seat.
There was nothing I disliked about the property.
It was lovely and warm and our bathroom was really really nice very spacious and light perfect for getting ready in the morning, suprisingly quiet for a roadside location you really wouldnt be able to tell no noise at all from the road when your trying to sleep, exactly what you want :), loved the use of an actual key for room very fitting with the character of the place i got a room same day i needed it at a very good price as well. Really went above and beyond for my partner while i was at work, the hosts were fantastic couldnt of done more really friendly and helpful. If i get any more jobs in Bristol i will be sure to return
The parking area is small but it depends how others have parked as to whether you can squeeze in or not, but i managed to squeeze in on the end so i got away with it.
I stay every month as I work in Keynsham so the perfect location. A Smart TV would be a bonus. The staff are always very friendly and any issues are dealt with quickly.
Nothing really - a Smart TV would be good.

Staff helpfulness
The two person bed was small
Dinner and breakfast were good, large portions and tasty. Room and bed comfortable. All the staff were friendly and helpful, including the cleaners.
What's not to like? We liked it all and yes we would recommend it and would also stay their again if the circumstances arise again.
