Location was easy to find.
Staff at the desk were friendly during check in. We arrived later in the evening so it was nice to have someone on hand. There was no one at the desk in the morning, we were to just drop the keys off in a basket when leaving.
Continental breakfast was nice and a bonus to have waffles available as a warm option.
This facility is dated, and it could use a deep clean, as it felt like some elements are overlooked.
Our toilet had rings in it (maybe from the type of water?), and the fan was covered in dust. We did not use the towels provided in the room for our own comfort level and wore socks/indoor shoes around.
Lights right at the door made bugs fly in as we entered so had to kill a few flies before bed.
The bed was very soft.
Loved the fire pit! We had a really nice time there. Very friendly and helpfull staff.

The price, the location, the friendly staff, the outside BBQ and picnic area, the facilities in our room, all contributed to a pleasant night's stay.
There was nothing to dislike about our stay.
The Gateway is more than 60 years old and has had several owners. It has fallen on hard times. Because we were attending a large family gathering in town we had little choice. The new owners have been there only one month. They have deep cleaned,
and while the rooms need a complete overhaul, the sheets were lovely. There is a waffle maker in the breakfast room, yogurt etc .. and good coffee. Is it humble ... yes ... but don' count it out if in the area

We booked this motel on the road.
We were greeted by the son as we walked in at check in (so polite) who got his parents.
The rooms are clean, warm up quickly and beds comfortable.
The breakfast had a good selection - including waffles!!
BBQ & fire pit are available to use
Nice large room, with ample space for crates for my pets, as well as the ability to sit outside.

Le petit déjeuner est basique (gauffre à cuire sois même à l'instant T, céréales, yaourts, café ou thé, pain).
On a juste aperçu quelques insectes dans l'accueil/ salle de petit déjeuner en fin de matinée - mais on est entourés de nature donc cela provient sûrement de là. (Mais jamais dans la chambre qui était super propre)
